Ever since I got to eat a sushi in Japan, I stopped eating sushi anywhere else, but this place has the best tasting sushi in Napier and Hastings combined. So, I don't mind every now and then. Also, my kids love this specific sushi shop. The staff will smile and greet you when they see you. Easy go in and out for those who wants a quick bite. Well, not too easy as the line can get packed! Well, they do serve good sushi.

Loved the food. The service came with a smile. Decor could do with an update and I didnt know where to put my used dishes as they did not seem to be clearing tables.

Loved the service and the food was great especially my Chicken Udon. Dinning area not the greatest as it is small and this place gets busy so very little room to move around.Highly recommend if your looking for a good sushi place in Napier!

I love going to this place and the sushi is really affordable. The staff are so friendly and this is my local that I always go to when I want authentic traditional sushi. The decor is very beautiful and the restaurant is clean all the time I go in there. Compliments to the cleaning fairy.

I had meal set 9; katsu chicken on rice with salad & a miso soup. I must admit that it's sorta a cheat meal for me. Katsu is obviously fried chicken so it's not good for you. However, I convince myself that it's somewhat better than KFC as it comes with rice & salad plus in this case soup. As for the meal itself... It's pretty much the good quality that I'd expect from a Japanese food outlet. So a high standard but not "gee wow whee, gotta have that again". What I am on the lookout for is a place that makes Omraisu (omlette on a mound of fried rice with a heavy gravy). This is a staple in most Japanese homes but no restaurant serves it... Weird.

Excellent range, cleanliness and efficient. Serving more than just sushi, fast japanese at it's best! I also love the self serve buffet style but I'm told this is pretty standard in NZ..
