Very underwhelmed by the food. Very limited sushi, hardly any prawn and eel... mostly chicken. Got the buffet and limited variety. Had to ask for more edamame as there was heaps of us and we received one small bowel, when we asked we got one more small bowel. The chicken was over cooked, with a few calamari rings and spring rolls and dumplings, not much and over salted. Didn't have much mayonnaise when it was required. Would have been better going to St Pierres and spending $49 there. Service was slow. 2 chefs and 1 waitress. Shocking experience. We love sushi and that was gross. The desert was a yuck brownie that was stale and a tiramisu was probably the best item. That was the only 2 deserts on offer.

A fabstastic Japanese restaurant with great food and excellent service! We visited both for dinner and breakfast (since itβs part of a motel) and enjoyed both experiences. The sushi train delivering food to the table was a huge hit, especially for our 8-year-old, who absolutely loved it! The quality-to-price ratio is excellent β you can choose between an all-you-can-eat option or order Γ la carte from the menu, which gives great flexibility depending on how hungry you are. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff were super friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Definitely one of the best Japanese dining experiences weβve had in a while. Highly recommend for both families and sushi lovers!

Today, I enjoyed a delightful buffet lunch at a fantastic Japanese restaurant in Rotorua. I must say, the cleanliness of the place truly impressed me and the staff were incredibly friendly. The food was absolutely amazing, and the sushi train added an extra touch of excitement. Plus, the prices are very reasonable. The sashimi was incredibly fresh, and the atmosphere perfectly captures the essence of Japanese culture. I highly encourage everyone to visit this gem when youβre in the area.

The food was amazing. Price is similar to Auckland. Atmosphere is really good. Staff are good at recommending dishes and their service is outstanding. Special thanks to Tanzen, Chef Will and Chef San for making our experience way better.

Amazing sushi train - my daughter and I thought the food was delicious and we received great customer service. Sushi was fresh and I ordered the Ramen too. Very filling. Wish we had something this cool in Wellington!

It was a very unique experience. The atmosphere was fantastic. The service isn't too great, they needed to improve a lot in that area. For example, upon serving dessert, the staff should serve it with the proper cutlery. Or at least the cutlery is hand reach if it's self-service. The food is fine, not the yummiest, but they're okay. The discount scheme though is good a good idea.
