“Napier Beach is without a question one of my favourite beaches in NZ. The dark grey sand/stone beach design and the fact that this place keeps getting more developed and utilised is actually great for the region. I visited recently, and had previously visited in 2016 and the changes were insane. Normally I would complain about tourism growth but I would much rather visit Napier than the Mount, as it fits my personality more. This is a beach and town that really requires a stay at a bach or hotel as there is plenty to see and explore along the coastline that I have not delved into yet.”

“Took the car in for a minor issue and a wof. Ended up spending a fair bit to get the car up to WOF standard including fixing the horn I hadn't used since the last WOF. Got the car back after they said it was all fixed. Checked everything when I got home and horn didn't work. Contacted the team and they bent over backwards to get the issues resolved, ensure we weren't put out, and got everything sorted the next day. “After shopping, I found that the right rear wheel of the car had an abnormal sound, and then parked in the parking lot in front of the store, just a handsome guy found us, chatted with us enthusiastically and said that he heard the sound of our car, and then helped us check that it may be that the stone was stuck in the brake disc. But he was done with work, he checked it for me and then went back to the shop to get the tools and said see if it could be solved, and then he noticed that there were sawdust stuck in the brakes and helped us get rid of it. He was friendly and communicated with us all the time. And he's off work and he's willing to help solve the problem, and it's free. The service was really good. Very impressed.
