“I came in today to find some shoes - I was so happy to have Isabella’s help, she didn’t stress me and let me try on so many pairs. Such a lovely girl! I ended out buying more than I planned, but I’m so happy with the service.”
“Farro has the freshest and best quality veges, and at times it's cheaper than the supermarket. They stock many specialist products like duck and steamed buns..... The wine selection is very good, and I prefer their rose selection to supermarkets. The store has a farmers market, community feel. They offer fresh rolls, salads and coffee. I only buy deli meats from here as the quality is better than supermarket brands. Staff are friendly and helpful.”
“I visited the store today around 5pm; service was incredibly good! The woman and the guy who helped me were so friendly and helpful, they supported me with what I was looking for! My experience today was very positive thanks to those staff! Thank you!”
“Coffee is great and the slices are delicious! I forgot the name of the slice I got but it was soft, moist, not too sweet, rich and went great with my coffee.”
“Best pies in Auckland I reckon nice filling and perfect pastry”
“Great little restaurant, with a great family team. Really enjoyed the food here after someone recommended this place to me. So far one of the top places I've been too for Indian street food dishes! Great pricing and service. See my photos for sizes of portions and menu. Therw is plenty off street parking incl a few spots right in front of the restaurant.”
“An experience that’s more than just food. After years, I have finally tried their food! I went on a lunch time and there was only two other people. Good timing because I was already really hungry. He’s a one man show so make sure to allow time when visiting him. He makes sure every dish is fresh so it will really take time, but he dishes them out one by one, so you get small bites in between before the main meal. He is such a lovely man and he took his time to talk to us and welcomed us. His dishes are definitely authentic! Full of flavours despite of it being light- it won’t make you get sick of it. The broth of the ramen was divine! The takoyaki was crispy on the outside and super soft on the inside. It was flavourful on its own, no need a lot of sauce! The yakitori was super yummy. He gave us the takoyaki for free which we highly appreciated. The interior and decorations is obviously antique and don’t expect it to be as of modern restaurant style, it’s feels more intimate like you’re at your grandparents house and they’ll cook you a hearty meal. That’s the vibe the place gave. It is such a gem of Pukekohe. If you plan to go here for dinner, make sure you have a reservation. It gets full quite quickly which made it impossible for us before hence why we tried on a weekday at lunch time. You won’t regret coming here! This is what Japanese cuisine is!”
“Great place to grab a coffee and a piece of sweets. The food is delicious, and you can find a beautiful variety of options from the menu or the front vitrine. Whether you're catching up with friends or simply seeking a moment of solitude, this café offers the perfect setting to relax and recharge. I find myself drawn to this charming spot almost daily, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone in search of a delightful escape. With its delicious food, warm atmosphere, and exceptional service, it's sure to become your new favorite spot as well.”
“It was a great experience, amazing food, super cool staff”
“We love coming here and having the bao buns and burgers. We usually the pork and the chicken bao buns, and the South Westerner (fried chicken) burger which are always so good! The chips are always seasoned well, and the service is awesome. Don't be fooled by the pic, the angle makes the burger look small but trust me it's not. 10/10”
“The owner has been serving his local community for years. His fish is cooked properly and the batter is not uncooked dough like many others in REWA and KURA. I can't stand the uncooked dough of the batter, its freaking garbage. However, this has not happened at Rosehill Takeaways that I know off. Others may have a different experience, but as a new customer I wish I had found him earlier. $5 chips can feed 4 adults, and they are tasty. Imagine $10 or $20! His combo deals are fair. The only snag is he has no eftpos and accepts cash only. But, the dairy is more than happy if you buy your drinks from them and get cash to pay for your chips.”
“First time at Sushi-Ya and have to say this is the best sushi I have had in a long time! Incredibly fresh, and the pieces are huge and loaded with fillings! Great value for money.”
“Mint Leaf is great value and good quality, they give you a larger curry than most places. Lamb Korma is my go to and consistently good. The lady sometimes comes off as a little rude on the phone but it's not her intention (maybe just limited English), they are nice people. For the price and quality, this place really is great value.”
“Great Chinese food. Good deals. Friendly staff. Updated Menu Photo. Recommended.”
“5 stars for being super dog friendly. The food was pretty good too. We got the shared meatboard to try a few different meats and was pretty good value. We really liked the beef brisket and the chicken tenderloins. Our least favourite was the pulled pork.”
