“Super cheap Wairau has been very helpful with providing advice and recommendations while I’ve been restoring my project car. The range of stuff in there is good and if they don’t have it on hand they get it in for you. The credit system is great for when spending it’s essentially free money when you spend money and helps you buy those small things like extra cans of paint or $20-$30 off your next big purchase like oil changes or servicing.”

“What a fantastic place, stayed from the 6th to the 9th April, I chose here as it is very close to the Southern cross hospital where I had my operation. My room was really nice close to the main entrance which was a big bonus, the staff were really nice and helpful. Plenty of food places around even though I didn’t use them. Hoyt’s cinema close by as well. But as I mentioned earlier it was the helpful staff that impressed me the most. I highly recommend this motel and would definitely stay again.”

The food was beautifully presented in such a creative way, and it tasted just as good as it looked. The coffee was outstanding — easily one of the best I’ve had, thanks to the talented barista. A special mention to Sandun De Silva, the owner, for creating such a wonderful place. You can really feel the passion and care that goes into every detail here. “If I could give more than 5 stars I would! A few years ago I was pregnant,tired and incredibly hungry and all the restaurants were actually closing their doors, including vino. My poor husband ran up just as you were closing the doors and asked if you had anything spare he could buy for me quickly. Without hesitation you actually turned your ovens back on,chatted to my husband about life,and made me a double portion of pasta FREE of charge and said it was a gift for us and our first baby. I genuinely cried at how generous you were to a total stranger. Don’t know if you remember this at all,but it’s always stuck with us! Highly recommend to anyone and everyone.”

“Nice little Thai restaurant, has dinner here the first time and ordered plenty of dishes amount 3 adults and 2 kids. Service was really good and the food was very nice, the Red Thai curry is great with Rice hard to find a park during evening.”

I continued with the checkups too. All the nurses and vets I met there were wonderful - very friendly, understanding, answering all my questions, polite and knowledgeable. “I’ve been to 2 other groomers, as I my dog refuses to let anyone trim his nails He has been so aggressive with other groomers I went to see her to get them done and my dog had no issues letting her do them. He had a wee sulk with her but that was all. She was so calm with him I highly recommend her”
