    ★★★★☆ 4.7 (22 Reviews) Well rated Open

“Very good veiw of Auckland city and sky tower. Very beautiful. Beautiful boat.. The Tidal Steps which expand off Karanga Plaza, allow for people to sit and watch the boats go by, get their toes wet or jump right in for a swim. The tidal stairs provide a symbolic and tactile connection to the waters of the Waitematā and invites touching, swimming and ceremonial arrival. The generously scaled steps create a natural gathering place and vantage point from which to view the speactacle of the city and water based activity.”

Parking spaces are relatively plenty, though when there's a game, the spaces are filled up fast. Often confused with the neighbouring Hendon Park (it's the one with the bridge); though there's a door and pathway that connect the 2 parks.”

    Jones Landing

    ★★★★☆ 4.4 (117 Reviews) Well rated Open

“Just went for a one night camp trip to check it out, what an awesome little camp. Free to stay, hot showers and flushable toilets. Some people complain about the toilets but they were hygienic and clean. Floors just need a sweep now and again. U need to take ur own water as the water used for showers and toilet sink is lake water. They have a rubish and recycling bins too. A cute little jetty and a boat ramp. U will need a permit if u want to stay for 2 days or more. Lived this place and def going back.”
