“Chicken was crispy and juicy as hell, very flavourful and the chips were well seasoned. 10/10”
“Like to take a walk around here and bring the dogs sometimes, can be peaceful, as long as there's no sport practices/games.”
“Cool little park with kids play things.”
“A great venue with numerous touch 7 games being played while there. Nice bar facilities with large area facing some of the grounds.”
“Great park for exercise and children love the park. A majority of locals come on a daily. Also has trees to sit under close proximity to park to have a picnic and keep an eye on your little one with public toilets close by too. A++”
“Rhian Lang, the on-site manager is super helpful, someone who goes an extra mile. The team is very thorough with their check in process. The park although well-located right in front of the shore, it's a pretty 'packed' as they try to squeeze for more occupancy. Very little space allowed in between parking lots hence less privacy.”
“We had a powered site for two nights (early October 2025). The bathrooms are very clean & tidy (plenty of toilets and showers). And there's a large kitchen, with a seated dining area. The hosts are very nice. Oh, the location is just behind the beach. And the caravan park is perfectly located = short 8min drive to the city (easiest parking for motorhomes is directly across the train tracks, from the Dunedin train station). It's a quick walk up over the tracks to access the train station AND the city centre. And 30min north-east of the caravan park is the Albatross Centre (worth going to). There's a "coastal route" and a "plateau route" = both are the MOST scenic drives you shall ever do in your life.”
“I’ve taken my kids to Auckland Adventure Park a few times and they absolutely love the luge and the 4D cinema! It’s a fantastic place for children aged 4 through to teens. For younger kids—especially those in preschool and primary school—it’s an amazing venue for birthday parties. Their castle-themed party room is a real highlight, perfect for children who love medieval and knight-themed adventures. For older kids, the zipline and VR games offer plenty of excitement too. Highly recommended for a fun family day out or a memorable birthday celebration!”
“Stayed here for one night at one of their powered RV sites. The pools are clean and feel so nice, especially in cold weather/ rain. Showers are hot, kitchen and laundry room are great. Best Holiday Park we’ve stayed at. Very reasonable prices as well!”
“Stayed in Napier great places to park offering huge showers, very clean park very friendly staff.well equiped kitchen. We only stayed overnight but would recommend staying there. Traveling in camper.”
“It's got excellent hammocks and a gigantic mattress protected against the elements. A place in the city where you can have a comfortable snoze.”
“Park-TACULAR! A true destination for the locals. Old trees, rushing river sounds, playground options for all ages. Sport options include a halfpipe for skaters, a basketball court for netball and risk-taking rollerskaters, and even a BBQ for dad to flex his culinary talents. You'll also find a bicycle road with miniature street signs which is extremely adorable. Just don't walk through it after 2am - local legend has it that the Stokes Valley Golem comes out at night to grab unwary travellers!”
“Well fenced Playground, huge graded fenced area and a lot of wonderful viewpoints”
“My dog's favourite place in Dunedin so far!”
“Attentive staff, quick to help and determine if they had additional stock in store. Prompt service to pay and price point was good for the quality.”
“Mind relaxing Green environment”
“Good clean park . Good children's play. Sport there clean toilets”
“Super clean and spacious. I stayed in a studio & it had its own private patio out back. The thermal pool was great, the grounds are immaculate. Really friendly and accomadating hosts. Carpark is right in front of your room and the wait for uber to location is not super long (less than 10min when not peak). Would stay again.”
“Great facility, great staff. Indoor and outdoor pools. Slide, kids pools, wave pool, lane pools, aqua run, sauna, spa and steam room. Clean facilities and have food and drinks available to. Close to Papakura shopping center.”
“A minor fault but the microwave was stuck on child lock so couldn't be used. Did ask for help but no feed back about it. The hot water for a shower took about 5 mins to arrive so if you turn on the hot then go make a cup of tea it's just arriving when your done. Awesome being so close to everything though.”
“Beautiful country estate to escape the city and contemplate in silence”
“Absolutely amazing best place me and my whanau have stayed has everything you need clean etc close to everything Absolutely love it xx”
“Very comfortable lawn, very beautiful football field!”
“Really lovely Park with plenty of signboards for information. Lovely gardens. Kids playground.”
“Clean and very nice camp. Love the bush kitchen with pizza oven and recycling a plus!”
“Had a great time and met lots of other nice dog owners z Be aware though that there are no gates to this area. Would be a great improvement to make it secure so dogs don’t run into children’s play area, the car park…?”
“Great local playground for the kids with a big rugby field next to it.”
“The trees are amazing. Nice little stroll with a 10 minute bush loop half way.”
“The service is awesome and it has alot to offer”
