The park is quiet and peaceful, and you can enjoy a walk along the river and fresh air. It is not busy, so it is great for relaxing with your family. There are no public toilets.

Roadside Park alongside River Road by Tarawera College. first park established in Kawerau, full of mature trees. Good for the dogs, just watch for road. Judo Club uses building on grounds. Drops down to the river behind school.
