“Ordered the Great Big Breakfast for brunch today. Definitely hit the spot, satisfying my hunger pains after a big gym session. Scrambled eggs (extra eggs) cooked to perfection. Breakfast sausage full of flavor, hash brown golden and crunchy. Bacon cooked just right. Staff very friendly and welcoming. The Cafe had a nice warm and homely vibe. Definitely recommend this place if your looking for somewhere nice to eat.”

“A gem of a place, super delicious coffee and incredible cakes and pastries, we wanted to try everything and got a few different bits but the caramel, pear and walnut tart was a definite stand out. The atmosphere, service, food quality and cost was excellent and I will be sure at the very least to be getting my hot chocolate from there on a regular basis. We sat outside in the patio area with our puppy and enjoyed a faultless experience.”

“Favorite cafe in the area. Coffee is always good and cabinet food has never disappointed. Usually only 1 person working so expect to wait when busy, but it's worth it. Also the only place I know that has a half-caf on the menu (1 shot full caf, 1 shot decaf). Thanks for all the coffee and hugs from your giant bear!”

“I visited this fine wee establishment today while out riding my motorbike from Cambridge to Auckland and back. What can I say... the staff were so friendly and accommodating. As I'm on a rather strict diet, I didn't eat anything, but the cabinet food and food service looked so appetising and yum. The service, well the owner should be very proud of his staff, they work with purpose and a smile... loved it!! And the atmosphere was quaint rustic charm, spot on!! Not only highly recommended, but definitely a must visit again.”

The value for the money is unbeatable, considering how prices have raised in the sorounding areas. I've started having medium flat whites and the size is big, price is great. Today I've eaten a nice toast with 3 ingredients of my choice and it was well made. Please note that the approach is a homemade dish, which is great. I don't tend to go to places to see MasterChef decorations to justify high prices. What I do care is flavour, quality of food and service, not to mention the price. So this is the place to go for me and I've become a regular. I'm quite surprised that this place isn't packed, but hopefully you read this and support this business.”
