“Every steak and cheese&mince&cheese pie ive had from here has been 11/10 would go here everyday if i could”
“Superb coffee, super friendly staff and a very relaxed, clean, family friendly space for all”
“I've said it before and I'll say it again-best cafe on the North Shore! Anna has created a haven with hand picked coffee beans from around the globe, expertly roasted and carefully measured. The food is concise, with fewer options done exceptionally. The BEST ingredients and scones ever (and I've eaten them the world over-sorry Scotland!) ...caramelised cashews on top, melt in your mouth crumb and softest crystalised ginger. Love”
“If you are looking for a classic cafe style cafe then look no further, there was relief and excitement when the food arrived it was just so delis to taste that classic French toast again! The coffee was nice and overall excellent hospitality! Highly recommended.”
“I love the bears, food and drinks It’s a really cute place :) Here my brother had the big breakfast and he loved it! I drank my coffee too quickly to take a pic but it was really good! I always get a dessert here since they have traditional dulce de leche from Argentina and make everything in house ☺️”
“Really lovely bakehouse. The energy there is just awesome. Buzzing with friendly people. We started conversations with people at 4 different tables. Had lots of laughs. Hubby and me never had an experience like that in cafe before. Food was really good. Priced well for the quality and size. Not fancy foods but more like home cooked foods and even do we are foodies we still enjoyed it and went back next day and grabbed sandwich and sausage roll. Sorry no photos of those as we finished it in a hurry but sandwich was packed with tasty filling and hubby said the sausage roll was the best he ever had. So there you go. If you not sure what to try definitely grab sausage roll. Coffee was excellent. Large size came in decent large mug and was hot and delicious.”
“What a spot! My friend and I were looking for someplace new to try today and I’m so glad we found Vibe! We were impressed by the full, delicious looking cabinet. The service was excellent, and food yummy. I tried the Hokey Pokey latte and can recommend! Lots of seating too. We’ll be back :)”
“Such a lovely spot! I came in to have lunch and get a bit of work done, and I ended up staying longer than planned because I felt so good there. The staff were absolutely adorable, the tea was delicious, and there were plenty of gluten-free and vegetarian options. My meal was rich and comforting, and the tart for dessert was amazing, a bit much for just me, but can’t complain about that. I’ll definitely be back, either by myself or with friends! ✨”
“I happened to discover this beautiful coffee shop when I visited VTNZ New Lynn to get a WOF for my car. The coffee, soy latte takeaway, was superb. Love to go back to taste food, perhaps a bagel. It sounds very delicious on menu. Really loved their setting & atmosphere.”
“The food is great and the service is so quick and friendly. Love the lamb here. Lunch specials are a great value for money. It’s highly consistent and the portion size is decent. It can get very busy during peak lunch hours so best to make a booking especially for a larger group. Highly recommended !”
“Had one of their award winning Steak n Cheese pies. It was everything you'd want from a pie - flakey pastry on top, soft on bottom, delicious flavours, tender steak, golden on top. Not the cheapest at $7 but definitely worththe stop if you're after a good pie.”
“The flat white was the best I have had in Wellington. The service was outstanding. We had a takeaway order and they were so helpful. Thank you. Rob and Maddy”
“Trying to find somewhere open early in the weekend is a bit of a mission. But so glad this place was open. Great atmosphere, amazing coffee and the cheese scone was THE BEST!!!”
“we absolutely loved this place. it was recommended by a co worker as a meat place, but in my opinion I enjoyed better other things. I enjoyed the tempura oysters and the croquetas , incredible tasty. the dessert was also perfect. The meat was good, but personally I don't enjoy when the put so many sauces to what in where in my opinion the main flavour should be the meat only. In the menu it did say it would have a sauce, but I thought it would be on the side! and they actually put 2 different sauces !! way too much! The environment and service were both up to point and the restaurant had a retro European feel which we loved. We are definitely going back for more , sooner rather than later ! (sauces on the side this time)”
“I've been to a lot of kebab places around Lower Hutt, and this place beats them all. Great price kebabs, generous portions, and they are juicy without getting soggy. The meat was grilled well, with good sized pieces and lots of crispy bits, and the kebab was wrapped so that you don't have to fight the tinfoil away before you can eat it. I also had the baklava, which at $8 is on the pricier side, but it was a good portion with plenty of syrup nuts and crunchy pastry. Today was my 3rd time here, and it will be my go-to kebab shop from now on.”
“Lovely food, excellent service and nice calm athmosphare to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. We only had breakfast but I almost wish that I could have had the dinner as the menu looked very good! My compliments to our super cute waitress, who served us with such a delightful manner!”
“A great coffee shop serving all day breakfast food. A very unique location in Avonhead. Unique environment too. Cafe food is what you expected. Nice too.”
“what a great spot for breakfast with the family. delicious eggs benedict, excellent plating and presentation, and great staff as well! they have plenty of gluten free goodies as well”
“Always great food there Belgium waffles are amazing but you have to walk home to work them off, coffee is great and the cabinet has lovely scones and muffins as well as a good variety of food options. Staff are friendly and helpful”
“Kai was great! Toroi, battered mussels kina and more! Yummy azzz!”

“Good coffee. Friendly crew. A nice outdoor spot to drink a Mocha... Beautiful weather today. Needed a large mocha with 2 extra shots (6 in total) and sat in the sun enjoying it. Had a good chat with the Barista as he cleaned up ready for the end of his day.”
“Amazing place lovely food and great coffee all the staff were very friendly and nice they were very genuine and quick Special mention Manish on barista who was constantly brewing the best coffee and was very focused on his work . Strongly recommend this place”

“Fabulous coffee and food! Highly recommend the filter coffee, check what’s on offer each day as it changes, I had a very nice single origin Ethiopian. Espresso also great. And, very tasty food, we had breakfast 3 days in a row and can recommend the granola, also had poached eggs and bacon with a house made rosti in place of bread to make it gluten free (gf bread also an option). Staff are super helpful and friendly :)”
“Phenomenal food at excellent prices. My favourite cafe in Orewa! The grilled chicken wrap is very delicious.”
“Eaten brunch here a couple of times. Eggs bene and avo on toast. Good both times. Has become a regular stop for a coffee and cake after a dog walk. There are 2 doors, so ordering and counter food is done in the back corner. You can then walk outside to the diner and take a seat. Makes for a nice quiet area to chat while waiting for food as no coffee machine working! Dog friendly and outside seating area for firry friends.”
“Everything was spot on. The coffee was smooth and full of flavour — you could tell they take it seriously. The food was fresh and delicious, and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. It had such a good vibe, warm and friendly service.”
“We had brunch on Waitangi Day (Thursday) and absolutely loved it. For the first time, I had a smoothie that was actually better than the ones I make at home—so thank you for that! We went back on Saturday, but this time, the smoothie had noticeably more spinach, which caused it to oxidize quicker. I don’t have a picture, so you’ll have to take my word for it—it was much darker in color and less sweet. That said, the breakfast quality was just as great as the first time.”
