Very slow service. Food looked stale. Staff were functioning but not engaged. The management need more staff on duty. Customers had to remove dirty plates off tables to sit down. Very badly run. However, they do know how to charge!
Ordered a large ice moka and received a child size glass of warm bitter moka a few ice cube on top but not nearly enough to cool it down $6.90 for a dry tasteless cookie. Very disappointed, wasn't told only one size for drinks when I questioned it after being served the lady was rude. Won't be returning
The price of food in this place is a joke. $14.50 for the smallest sandwich known to man. $6 Extra for what literally was 15 chips,( not even nice ones as they were overcooked. $12 for 2 slices of toast with Nutella for the kids. Have a look at what you are charging people relative to portion sizes. As begrudgingly painful as it is for me to say it, even McDonald's is better value than here.
Drinks were good but food is terrible. Ordered a cheese roll that had literally no cheese in it. Will be going back to RH The Palms.
Robert Harris coffee was started in 1954. Since then, kiwis have traveled the world and enjoy decent espresso. While Kiwi tastes have matured, Robert Harris coffee has just gotten tired.
No value for money here. Didn’t get bacon as ordered with my smashed avocado meal. My daughters bacon and avocado bagel was just that on the plate, not toasted and not made, pretty much a build your own with no plate appeal whatsoever. Unfortunate as we were here for a Mother’s Day breakfast.
Came here for lunch, they charged $10 for a side of chips which when delivered to the table was a tiny handful, we also asked for no bacon with the smashed avo as my partner is a vegetarian and when it came to the table bacon was on it, they took it away removed the bacon and returned the plate with a giant chip/crack in it. I also ordered the toasty with grilled chicken and it came to the table smoked instead. The front of house came over to apologise but instead just blamed it on the chef. Over all completely unacceptable and won’t be back.
Really good coffee. Put your phone number in the tablet and build up coffee purchases until you get a freebee. Awesome service and a modern industrial vibe to the place. It smells amazing in the mornings.
Nice cafe for coffees and snacks. Went there today, ordered hot chocolate, didn’t like it as it was not that chocolatey so didn’t drink that one. Asked the guy at counter to make one more and he happily made another one which was really good. So, totally happy with the service.
