“One of the best authentic Napolitan pizza/calzzone you can have in Auckland. We ordered the Diego Armando pizza and a Napolitano Calzzone. AMAZING. 10/10”
“Beautiful food as always. The cocktails were fabulous. Some of the cocktails could have been a little bit more decorated as we loved taking photos. Apart from this everything was perfect.”
“It was my birthday today and the best decision I made this year was coming here for dinner. Loved seeing the chefs cook right in front of me – their passion made the food taste even better. I could really feel how much thought went into every sauce and ingredient on the menu, and I truly appreciated that. The staff were super friendly and quick, everything felt smooth and professional. Loved the vibe, the food, the menu variety, the plating… everything. Can’t recommend this place enough.”
“El Greco Greek Restaurant delivered an outstanding dining experience. The meal was delicious, authentic and expertly prepared, with fresh ingredients. The portion was generous including the Calamari starter which was amazing. The service was warm, attentive, and professional, making us feel welcome without being intrusive. A wonderful, on-the-house birthday dessert added a memorable and celebratory touch. Highly recommended for a reliably superb meal and excellent hospitality.”
“The Beer Spot is for everyone that likes beer and wine, exceptional craft beers, usually local and of course magnificent NZ wines. So much choice on tap and you are welcome to taste everything before settling on a favorite. Very well setup, plenty to do or just listen to music, some days it's live. Food is by food truck with amazing variety. Highly recommended and well worth a visit.”
“Finally made it to Hugo’s Bistro for their weekend dinner offer — I’ve always wanted to dine here, and this was the perfect excuse! We absolutely loved everything from the moment we arrived. The welcome was warm, and the host who looked after us made our evening feel genuinely special. The complimentary glass of champagne was such a thoughtful touch. The menu is beautifully curated, and every dish we tried was exceptional. You can really feel the care and craft behind the food and the service. Hugo’s, you’re truly deserving of all the accolades you’ve received. We can’t wait to return!”
“ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! We came for the first time last Friday and will definitely be back! one of the best dining experiences we have had in Auckland. The food is just phenomenal, the service outstanding and the atmosphere just what we were in need of. If we had to offer any constructive feedback it would be that the side of fries is in need of some work, but that didn't detract from this 10/10 experience. We will be back”
“Best ramen around, lovely staff, no complaints at all, very well priced.”
“Efficient friendly service with best Indian cuisine around and they know what hot hot hot really means I've been one of their first customers and still a very happy one till this day and would ,and do, recommend their bistro for the best meals and the best value, cheersand all the best regards ,Roy”
“Culprit had been on our must-try list for a while, thanks to its reputation for contemporary New Zealand cuisine. We finally got the chance to experience it for our wedding anniversary dinner—and it did not disappoint! We opted for the seasonal menu with wine pairings and couldn’t resist adding a Culprit classic as well. Every bite was a delight. Truly loved it! The restaurant’s soft music, stylish décor, and gentle lighting created the perfect romantic and relaxing atmosphere. A big thank you to the professional and friendly staff who made our evening even more special. Keep up the amazing work! Culprit has officially earned a spot as one of our favourite date night spots in Auckland CBD.”
“Bit of a hidden gem…wood fired pizzas!! Nicely cooked pizza. Chicken salad delicious. Big servings for decent price! And across the road from Sky City Hotel”
“Easily the best burgers.... friendly down to earth owners.... I reccomend the chicken burger but the beef burger is just as delicious.... one of my favorite places to stop”
“What a fun classic bar, lots of live music at night and smashing bar tenders”
“Great food. they accommodate the spicy level. Hardly seen in Western cafes or restos where they feed the whole staff, they should.”
“Authentic Italian on the beachside. I’ve come here twice now to try the pizza, and it’s always been good. They have some vegan options however they are not labeled very well on the menu so you will have to ask. Portion size for the vegan pizza was average, but the other food look well well portioned. Lovely staff and a great venue, excellent date location.”
“A cool idea to combine dining and board games together. Great for dates and group gatherings. The staff were helpful and friendly, and I was really impressed by the food. I wasn't expecting a lot from the food selection (thought it would all be finger foods) since I thought the main draw was the board games, but the food was actually really good. The chicken burrito and Korean Bulgolgi bowls were very flavourful, well seasoned and had generous portions. I ate my cheeseburger so fast because I was so hungry but the burger was nice, it had a thick juicy patty with very beefy flavours. We also braved the spicy chicken tender roulette, it was a bit expensive, $20 for only 6 tender strips, but one of them was super spicy, and we had a ball taking turns to see who got it. We played "Articulate" and it was a lot of fun. I did hope the board games were a little better maintained as ours was falling apart. I suppose the staff are busy and it's a bit difficult to keep track of the wellbeing of all of those board games. There was a wide range of game selection, and a great team bonding experience. I would love to return again with friends.”
“The restaurant isn’t big, but it has a lot of charm. The food really surprised me — so delicious for the price! The owner is super nice and makes you feel very comfortable.”
“Enjoy music, meeting locals And craft beers”
“A huge selection of beer and spacious areas to catch up with groups of people. In the middle of an industrial area with little else around, it is a good location among the suburbs. Accompanied by a rotating food truck parked just outside that can fuel you. This time there was a Filipino food truck with delicious options @thebeerspot”
“Nice juicy burgers with reasonable price. The people looking after the store is very friendly and welcoming. I’ve tried the Mushroom Magic and was not disappointed. Will definitely come back and try their other burgers on the menu.”
“Always a great experience. My favourite is the steak with bone marrow crumble, it's a must try if you love steak. The plates are best shared and no matter what you order each dish will be an experience in itself. Being asian I care less about the decor when the food is this good, but the decor is inviting and relaxed.”
Azizi Barbers is a hair salon offering cuts and styling and men's grooming. The team is known for friendly service and professional care.
“I absolutely loved my experience at this Nutella Creperie! The crepes were perfectly made — light, warm, and generously filled with Nutella. The presentation was beautiful, and every bite was deliciously rich and satisfying. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick even though the place was busy. Definitely a must-visit for anyone”
“Warmest service and lovely homely atmosphere! We popped in for a quick sweet treat and coffee. But the real bright spot was the spritely and warm lady at the counter who gave us a complimentary Thai salad to try (yum).”
“Best service from Shirley, hub for bus drivers, characters and old people sharing war stories. Food doesn’t mess around - large delicious portions and yummy cakes and sweets. Classic old school New Zealand spot.”
“All round fantastic! Had a a great time at CouCou. They have a huge range of sweet and savoury cabinet foods. Had a vegetarian quiche and it was absolutely divine. So much cheese! And the pastry was just right. We also got a few sweet items to share for the table. Really loved the jelly tip donut, was filled to the brim with creamy chocolate mousse and then dusted with raspberry powder. Staff were very kind and went above and beyond e.g helping us rearrange our overloaded table! See that they do half price baked goods after 3:pm. Highly recommend CouCou 10/10”
“Love love love the Thursday/ Friday toasties, it's a great vibe for students to stop in and relax alone or with friends”
“During my bicycle ride, I experienced a sense of adventure. I requested a surprise flavor selection from the staff, and their choice was exceptional; a delicious, earthy, and berry-flavored combination.”
“Friendly staff, fair prices. I loved the variety of crepes. I'd recommend the kiwi or chocolate one. It's also cool how you can watch them make it. I'll be coming here again ❤️”
