   Food was 6.5/10 for me. Prawn bao I feel lacked seasoning, would be good to get it with a wedge of lemon and it better seasoned. I also got the calamari which was nice, the pork belly I was a bit disappointed. The meat to sides ratio was off. Too much meat and a lack of mash/veg to eat with it. I was spreading my mash on my meat like sauce because that’s how much it lacked. Lava cake was also so so. I prefer to have a little more cake than I got to lava. It was 95% lava and 5% cake which was a bit much for my liking given the size as well. Service was good for being so short staffed. Our waiter did the lunch rush well by himself and did not once look overwhelmed. Atmosphere was nice but a bit too dim inside. Overall it was nice but could be better. Didn’t get a pic of calamari. But plenty on other reviews.

   Our first to dine in Kingsland at Crown. Ambiance was great, loved the entree chicken kaaage & calamari. Though mains serving went a bit slow yet enjoyed the food experience, especially the crisp of heavenly pork belly, also the zesty tarahiki a must try and the rest. Be back for more.

   ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! We came for the first time last Friday and will definitely be back! one of the best dining experiences we have had in Auckland. The food is just phenomenal, the service outstanding and the atmosphere just what we were in need of. If we had to offer any constructive feedback it would be that the side of fries is in need of some work, but that didn't detract from this 10/10 experience. We will be back

   We dined here on a Sunday night. If it had not been for First Table we might have missed this new Kingsland Restaurant. Owner operated this restaurants chef can cook. We watched others food come out and all of the plates looked great. We started with the Karaage Chicken Bao Buns and they were great. Our mains were large portions. The Chicken parmesan and Pork Belly were cooked to perfection - they have a great chef. This restaurant has only been open for 3 weeks (August 2023) and I would recommend you come and support them by dining here. We will be back!
