   Every time I go to Lilian, I’m reminded why it’s one of my favourite spots. The food never disappoints- the eggplant dish and the lamb ribs are my absolute favourite! This time, we ordered those along with the steak, octopus, burrata and bread, Caesar salad, and asparagus. Everything was absolutely delicious, but the real star of the night was the steak. I’m very particular about how my steak is cooked, but the chef had nailed this one. The staff are always so lovely and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Lilian is one of those places I’d confidently take any visiting friends to, knowing it will never fail to impress. Can’t wait to go back already!

   Upon entering, we were greeted by a friendly staff. The waitress was exceptionally amiable and provided excellent recommendations. The food was outstanding, from the appetizers to the main courses. This is a hidden gem that is a must-visit for a delightful experience.

   Lillian delivered on all fronts. The service was super friendly and very attentive without being annoying. The vibe was just right with great interiors and some great Sunday chill music playing and the place was packed without feeling like it. The parfait was one of our favourites in the city, it was buttery smooth with some sweetness that balanced it well. Pair it up with their woodfire bread, and you’ve got a match made in heaven! The octopus was cooked perfectly with the sauce having a little bit of a kick to it. Eggplant was also a great dish offering a fresh veggie taste mixed in with some charred elements as well as a creamy sauce. The tiramisu was the perfect way to finish, very light and perfectly balanced with all the classic flavours. There’s lots to love about the place, and it definitely lives up to the hype. We will definitely come back to try their other dishes and give their pizzas a go.

   It was my birthday today and the best decision I made this year was coming here for dinner. Loved seeing the chefs cook right in front of me – their passion made the food taste even better. I could really feel how much thought went into every sauce and ingredient on the menu, and I truly appreciated that. The staff were super friendly and quick, everything felt smooth and professional. Loved the vibe, the food, the menu variety, the plating… everything. Can’t recommend this place enough.

   A very popular restaurant where it’s almost impossible to get a table without a reservation. The atmosphere, service, and environment are all excellent. However, some of the sauces may not appeal to Asian tastes, especially with many dishes featuring a charcoal-grilled theme. Still, it’s a great place for those who enjoy trying diverse and creative cuisine.ice cream is amazing.

   Lilian provides a cozy ambience with excellent service. Lilian is primarily walk-in; however, there are a few local bars nearby where you can wait at while a table is getting ready. Have come here multiple times and have throughly enjoy the changing menu items. In particular the octopus, market fish and duck breast have been excellent. I would recommend ordering multiple different dishes and sharing amongst your group if possible.

   Octopus - a bit pricy but very yummy, I found the sauces too sour for me Courgette Pizza - phenomenal dough, good ricotta just a bit strange to have the lemon hint Eggplant - very good Good luck in finding a table my friend!

   Food, service, atmosphere, 5 stars across the board, could not fault the experience. Woodfired bread was amazing, like a cross between Naan and a Pita pocket, substantial and tasty, and perfect to soak up the Anchovie Butter and Chicken Liver Parfait. We had the grilled octopus as well which was beautifully cooked with a lovely char while still tender in the middle. Along with 2 beers the bill was bang on $100 and we were not hungry when we left so its good value for food of this quality, can't wait to go back

   We have been wanting to come here for a while but the lack of ability to make a booking had turned us off coming. But I am so glad we finally came. We were a group of 4 plus two babies that came for dinner on a Friday night. Got there at 5pm and grabbed a table but the place was instantly busy - such a good sign. We ordered a variety of dishes to share: the bread (so good that we ordered two serves), the chicken liver parfait (so yum), the lamb ribs (crispy but with nice amount of fat. Really good), the venison and the chorizo pizza and the eggplant. Didn’t love the pizza as found it a bit sweet and oily and thought the eggplant could have been cooked a bit longer as it was still quite hard jn the middle but everything else was delicious. Food came out in good succession. Such a yummy meal with good service. So glad we finally made it here!

   Really enjoyed the food here. Lots of options. Not just the pasta and pizza but amazing Steaks. Some great veg options too. I've never been the biggest fan of eggplant. But loved that dish. Wait staff were very knowledgeable and helpful too and provided us with a great experience.
