The atmosphere, service, food quality and cost was excellent and I will be sure at the very least to be getting my hot chocolate from there on a regular basis. “What a wonderful place! Their restaurant food is amazing, with great portion sizes! Out of all 4 pictured meals, I can’t say I have a favourite because they were all great. They also have a great selection of cabinet food. The restaurant and cabinet food is naturally a little bit pricey but I am definitely not complaining! The only thing for me was that the iced matcha was very watered down with milk, and therefore was very milky which wasn’t the best. Also all the menus online need updating! They’re really busy most of the time (we were booked in at 11am) and the wait time for our meals and drink took about an hour, but they have a sign outside warning you about the wait time during peak hours. Their service is also really good, most especially from Mike who is just lovely and extremely friendly, and Julian who is nice also very friendly. Do I even have to talk about the atmosphere? I would especially recommend booking a table outside for a nice view out back. The cafe is situated right in the park in a beautiful Homestead and has a lovely little art gallery and shop. I would 100% recommend coming here!”

“The place was recommended by a fellow backpacker so i'd thought i'll come by to take a look. Not a big place but does have both indoor and outdoors sitting. Everyone's okie to share the table. Minimalistically decorated. Variety on the menu. I was in a dilemma on choosing what to eat and the owner shared what he preferred which wasnt the most expensive thing off the menu. Haha. Shows the love he has for the food and people than the profit. Awesome. I had Hash: its pulled pork and taters.. very well done, not overly salty. Well prepared. Hot chocolate, theres the cadbury and whittakers options. Always nice to know there's a choice. :) Street parking. Help urself to the water, by the counter. All in all, an enjoyable brunch out.”

“Lovely organic shop with a bulk section, bread, vegetables and all the vegan and organic food you could ever want. And the best thing is, it’s connected to Hapi Café, so it’s a real Mekka for vegan and organic food culture. Very cute and vibrant.”

“I was shopping around looking for a bakery to do gluten free cakes for a future event and I came across a review for gluten free items at Frimley Bakery. WHAT? No way! I went there like 7 years ago and I could only get a $9 toastie (good but $9 in 2018). Today they have a whole shelf of GF items and there is savoury and sweet. I got a whole spice loaf for $7.50!!!! It is soft and yummmmmm!”

“Wow! Just looking at the other reviewers cakes that have been made by this wonderful company, makes me wish I lived closer! I had a very urgent request for a very small item sold at Cake Stuff, living in Auckland I couldn’t not find one anywhere. Not only was I greeted with the friendliest of replies when I enquired, but they went out of their way to stop everything they were doing, package the item up for me and visit the NZPost up the road, before the money was even transferred. They have managed to save the day for me and I am so appreciative of their effort. What incredible service, thank you so much! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️”

“Really lovely bakehouse. The energy there is just awesome. Buzzing with friendly people. We started conversations with people at 4 different tables. Had lots of laughs. Hubby and me never had an experience like that in cafe before. Food was really good. Priced well for the quality and size. Not fancy foods but more like home cooked foods and even do we are foodies we still enjoyed it and went back next day and grabbed sandwich and sausage roll. Sorry no photos of those as we finished it in a hurry but sandwich was packed with tasty filling and hubby said the sausage roll was the best he ever had. So there you go. If you not sure what to try definitely grab sausage roll. Coffee was excellent. Large size came in decent large mug and was hot and delicious.”
