“I was shopping around looking for a bakery to do gluten free cakes for a future event and I came across a review for gluten free items at Frimley Bakery. WHAT? No way! I went there like 7 years ago and I could only get a $9 toastie (good but $9 in 2018). Today they have a whole shelf of GF items and there is savoury and sweet. I got a whole spice loaf for $7.50!!!! It is soft and yummmmmm!”

“We have just moved to Napier, we rent a unfurnished house, we come to this shop to look for some furnitures, I got almost everything we need from sofa, cafe table, bed, dryer and some shelves. This is a big store, selling a large range of furnitures and some housewares such as washing machines, fridges, dryers and dish washers etc. The products have from low to high quality. The prices are acceptable. The staff are friendly and helpful. They do the delivery twice a week that is on Tuesday and Friday.”

They were also very accommodating as we needed to do some work on the floor once the old carpet was lifted and they went out of their way to accommodate our requests, so 10 out of 10 to the laying team. “Amazing service here. Needed a replacement dishwasher and the team were able to recommend options that would fit in the same space, and get the right one for my budget. They also came and removed the old one and replaced it with the new one! I won't go anywhere else for appliances again, these guys are a 10/10 for customer service.”

“This little op shop has had a bit of an overhaul lately and I think it’s looking really good! The store always smells nice, they’ve started changing displays to be a bit more interesting. I particularly like how they are displaying the good records up on the wall where you can see them. There are two staff members in particular who are always very friendly and have great banter. The new manager is lovely also. Prices on clothing, music, books, tchotchkes and electronics are very reasonable. Prices on toys are some media are quite high. Sometimes the store closes before their stated closing hours which can be a bit of a bummer. The biggest benefit of this op shop is that they prevent electronics from becoming landfill! Most local op shops chop the cords of electronics and bin them as they don’t have a system for electronics testing. Keep it up habitat team :)”
