Im a total novice when sorting out lace curtains. I was given help to find what I needed by very helpful staff and got exactly what I needed. I'm happy to report that the curtains are now up.

I asked properly if we could return a product, and we felt the response was quite rude and was heavenly disappointed when we heard her make extra comments about it to her co-workers.
Need to keep an eye out on specials. This shop has some good deals that go. We scored a $300 electric blanket for $90. Only 4 stars as the website would not let me order, the site is glitches out.
Disappointed by how my return was handled. I brought back an unused item in its original packaging and was told it was dirty. The item had never been opened - any marks or dirt were clearly from the factory. Instead of acknowledging this, I was questioned by multiple staff members, asked why I hadn’t returned it sooner, and challenged on my reasons, all in front of other customers. It’s concerning that the store appears to be selling factory-soiled items and then blaming customers for it. I was eventually given a credit note, but the experience was unpleasant enough that I’ve cancelled my loyalty card and won’t be back.
No staff spoke to me the whole time I was in the shop ,it was like I was invisible. I found what I was looking for & decided not to buy it . Not really friendly or happy place , but they might have all been h Aging a bad day .
Very helpful staff. Spotlight didn't have exactly what I wanted but I had a super helpful member of staff check stock levels and showed me how to order on line. Huge store. Great range.
Had a staff member who was trying to tell us not to buy products from this store which was kinda off putting. They also sent us in the wrong direction when we asked where certain products were. However the other staff members were excellent
Really great store. Has all your sewing, etc needs. Very helpful staff & good off-street parking. Worth joining their VIP club as big savings.
Great range of products, if you can’t (preferably), find what you need elsewhere there’s a good chance they’ve got it here. Good “shelf” prices but generally Chinese “budget” products of mediocre quality. Staff assistance is hard to find and usually limited to a vague “over there”. Check packing carefully, much of the stock has been opened and re-packed before you came along … check for torn packets, products upside down and/ or back to front in their package. Staff occasionally helpful but often “lippy”. Avoid Emily (youngish middle aged, imposing stature). “Picky”. Snide remarks. Been a while since I’ve “discussed” anything with the Manger … maybe he’s gone … maybe not. Staff attitude certainly appeared to originate at that level back then. These (NZ) Spotlight stores all pretty much sell the exact same product lines. Google ratings for the Hastings store are “nothing flash” and noticeably below all other (NZ) Spotlight stores. Think about it. Give their online shopping “a go”. PS: Just had a quick look at their Melbourne (Head Office area) stores. Mostly very similar ratings to NZ stores BUT their Head Office (“let us escalate your complaint“?) rates 1.5 (one point five) … wow!. The Hastings Manger I met years ago must have been promoted.
