We have dealt with Danske Mobler twice now and at each time they provided exceptional service. We just can’t fault Georgina and her staff. Delivery to our rural property was not a problem. The Danske Mobler team ( Georgie & Wigan ) have been simply the best to deal with. 5 Star service. Friendly, obliging, extremely knowledgeable, professional and always offering sensible and helpful advice. We have been so thrilled with their range of products that we have purchased, dining suite, sideboard, hall table, bar stools, outdoor patio table & chairs, 6 drawer lowboy, bedside cabinet, desk and a set of 3 coffee tables. All in blonde oak and we are thrilled with every piece.
We had a bad experience at Danske Mobler Hastings. We bought a sofa bed on the Friday. The sales person who helped me purchase the item insured that contact and delivery will be made in the following week to arrange suitable date and time for the delivery. At the time of purchase the salesperson was made aware that the purchase was urgent and would be used by a family member who would be coming to visit the week thereafter. No contact was made and we had to follow up the following Saturday only to be told there was no stock in the country and new stock will only be delivered after Christmas. We then went to the store to discuss the purchase and was told that we can take the demo stock on the floor for the same price as we paid for a new one or a refund could be given. Demo stock is second hand (used furniture) and is expected to at least be offered at a reduced price. However, it was non negotiable from the store side and had to opt for a full refund which we also requested to be done the same day due to the urgency and position they have placed us in however only to be told it can only be actioned by head office the following week. There was no accommodating the situation or the client even though it was lack of service that has placed their client in a bad situation.
Had the most terrible shopping experience in Danske Mobler Hastings store yesterday. We went in the store to look for a queen size headboard. There were 4 people working in the store, we were the only 2 customers there yet none of them bother to help. When asked about whether they have any fabric headboard so we can have a look as I saw them on the website. Been told what they got were on all the floor. The people worked there were rude and arrogant. We would never shop there ever again.
Tried to purchase two stressless recliner chairs from the hastings store settled on a price approx $8500 and delivery date we agreed to pay half as a deposit. three different invoices were emailed to us with different prices type of leather and delivery dates, finally sorted that out then three days later had a request for another $850 as the leather we wanted and agreed to was not available till january next year...No apologies. we have lost all faith in this store not recommended

My parents bought 2 leather lounge chairs which they returned as found my father was too tall for one as being 6ft 2. Danske Mobler returned them with no hesitation and gave a credit for them. Jade especially has done the every thing possible for a friendly and smooth return of the chairs. Its not very often you get such helpful service. Thank you Jade! Regards Frances
Purchased a leather lounge suite from Danske Mobler in Hastings. After ONLY two months leather was noticeably stretched. Danske acknowledged the following and are working on a remedy. Will update later..... Took the suite away. Re padded but still hugely disappointed. No follow up at all!
