   Visited store on Saturday morning. Abysmal service, no greeting, no asking if I required assistance. I asked wandering assistant who pointed to where the item I wanted was located. I said the item I wanted was on special however she said NO it wasn't. When I read the small print on a sign, it stated that it was discounted. I said the colour I wanted wasn't there, no reply, no assistance, no checking to see if other colour's were available. As I walked out there was an impatient remark made. Will never venture through their doors again.

   I often shop here, but unfortunately the staff aren’t very friendly — most of them seem quite cold. It creates an unwelcoming atmosphere, which really affects the shopping experience.

   Purchased tea towels that were labelled 100%cotton. They were actually an acrylic cotton composition. When i used it, It blackened and melted into a hard crust upon taking a pan out of the oven. Smelled like melting plastic . I contacted bb&b customer service online and sent a photo . they did not respond well, told me they couldnt see the problem in the photo well, and then told me to wash them on a different setting to get a better result! Absolutely ludicrous. Do not buy. PLEASE NOTE. THE MANAGER AT BB&B in hastings responded immediately to this review and rectified my situation with a refund, where online customer service denied it. Shenwas apologetic and incredibly sorry about the treatment i received.
