“Stunning hotel, that sits beside the lake for those that like going for walks or runs in nature, this is for you. They do have a gym and spa on-site though for those that don't want to leave the hotel. I have stayed here 3 times over the year and each room I have gotten, have always been very clean and have been stocked with everything I could of needed. The staff here from reception to the restaurant as well as the housekeepers are so Incredibly lovely. I highly recommend this place!”

“Have just checked out after staying for 3 nights in the family suite & cannot recommend this place enough. They have thought of everything, from flannels specifically for makeup to chilled water in the fridge. The beds were extremely comfortable, the space was clean, tidy & enjoyable. The spa was an absolute highlight & the staff are great!”

“Stayed overnight in a lovely clean and warm unit. Was lovely to arrive after a long drive and the heat pump was on and the room felt very welcoming. Plenty of towels and extra pillows and blankets. Was extremely quiet! Will be back”

“Great experience here. Vet was fantastic and did everything she could for our pet chicken and allowed me to bring her in at short notice. Vets that work on chickens are very hard to even find.”

“Buddy absolutely loves coming to daycare! He goes twice a week and always runs into the back every morning to catch up with his doggy mates. The team are so lovely, super easy to deal with and the service is top tier! I couldn’t ask for better people looking after Buddy. Highly recommend League of Pups!!”

The staff and super friendly and compassionate and went above and beyond to help my little dog after a not so very good experience with another vet practice while he was extremely unwell over the weekend. “Amazing, friendly and Pawsome! I mean i can't talk highly enough of the team at Paws!.. I've been meaning to write this review for a while as Willow has been going for years. Willow loves coming to see the team, she has her favourite openers (Becs and Tams) she went from snoring in the back seat this week to full of excitement to see the team. The team are super friendly and always listen to any requests we have about our precious little one. It sets my day up perfectly seeing how Willow gets so excited to see the team and her doggy friends too! I know she's most likely in for a better day than I am lol As always, a big thank you to Jan and her team :)”

“This is a great nature walk for people of all ages and great for dog owners except those who don't adhere to the rules by letting there dogs of the leash which I saw today while walking my dog it only takes one incident of an attack of any kind and legislation will bank dogs from entering the park there are plenty of signs informing dog owners that dogs must be on a leash at all times while in the park and for those few who ignore this simple rule jeopardize the park for the rest of us dog owners who use the place to exercise our pets thanks lady you know who you are”

“Just ate at the cafe. Wood fired pizza was excellent, enjoyed a Greek Salad. A nice place to spend the evening, and have a drink after a day of hiking. A beautiful waterfall at the bottom of the drive. Would definitely pop round again!”

We read such fabulous 5-star reviews that we thought we would try the Welcome Indian Takeaway Restaurant — and it did not fail us at all! The food was just amazing. For having traveled so far, each of the meals that we had ordered was just full of real flavor — in all seriousness, it was some of the finest Indian food we'd ever had in our whole lives. Nicely prepared, beautifully spiced, totally unforgettable and price is so reasonable which anyone can effort compare to others restaurants. The food was equally impressive. The staff were welcoming, polite. Special mention to Bikash for excellent hospitality service — he made us feel so welcome and proved his excellent hospitality service. If you are in Hamilton or even just passing through, this is an absolute must-visit destination.
