I highly recommend Hamilton Hounds. They provide a caring, stimulating environment for dogs, both large and small. My rescue dog Archie has thrived in their care.
They are amazing. We have a pitty that is quite reactive with people but she absolutely loves all the staff in Hamilton Hounds. They are such nice, kind people. I would absolutely recommend them.
We've been taking our dog here for seven years, and she absolutely LOVES it. No plans to stop despite no longer living locally, we go out of our way to take her. No complaints or concerns about the staff or facility, they're wonderful. Would rate higher if could!
If you ever need a place for your dog to go chill out with other dogs, this is definitely the place! Hamilton Hounds have a great facility and they take great care of your pet. I can't say enough about this place - the staff and environment are amazing and my dog can't wait to get out of the car each morning to see Hannah, Josh, Paula, Emma, Sue and the gang. They could not be more welcoming and accommodating. In response to previous review about booking in for an overnight stay and being declined - I know that, for your dog's wellbeing, they prefer to take dog's that are regular daycare attendees so that they know their 'people' and the other dogs so they aren't too stressed staying overnight. Have never ever experienced any rude service whatsoever. Keep it up Hamilton Hounds - we are lucky to have such a wonderful service at decent rates in Hamilton - worth every penny.
Have been bringing my lab here for a number of years now for both day care and over night stays with no problems. Called over the weekend to book her in to stay overnight and was rudely declined by a lady on the phone saying that my dog needed to be crate trained which she is and that my dog would cause issues with other dogs as it has been too long since she has stayed there overnight. I was amazed as we have never had any issues with this place in the past and a bit of a shame as my dog loves it there.
I trust them to take good care of my dogs, they separate the big dogs from the small. My dogs have so much fun when they go there. It is run by lovely friendly people and very obviously staff that love dogs.
