“The Mole (spit) is a man made Peninsula at the northern opening of the Otago Harbour. It's built on a series of ship wrecks and covered with rocks. You may see an abundance of sea life, including Sea Lions, Seals, Penguins and lots of sea birds.”
“Good walking track. Return walk almost for 4 hours.”
“Absolutely amazing hiking trail - we took a taxi from the city centre and got dropped off here to hike to Nicols falls. It was about a 15-20 minute hike, just make sure you take the left at the waterfall sign 300m into the track. Track was a little tricky and slippery even on a nice day - wouldn’t want to do the hike if it was raining as that would make it much more difficult. 10/10 recommend very peaceful and serene spot.”
“Beautiful native bush loop walk, a little slippery in places but otherwise nicely undulating and easy to walk.”
“Very good place to have a barbecue with big family or friends. Or walk with your dog. And children will be happy to play here.”
“We stayed one night on the world’s steepest street, and it was quite an experience. The street is really steep—so steep that we couldn’t even stand still on it! Driving up to drop off our luggage was a bit of a challenge, but it made the stay even more memorable. Definitely something special to see.”
“The campground is spacious and there are flush toilets open 24/7 just by the nearby playground about a minutes walk away. Easy access to beach and blueskin bay, nice and tranquil with good viewing areas for sunset and rise.”
“Very interesting to explore all the rooms and tunnels and the view is spectacular.”
“Great for kids of all ages. They have a toddler time on Saturday morning from 9 -10 am which is great for the little ones. I also often go on a Wednesday afternoon when it's quiet. Great price and no extra charge for parents when supervising little ones. You do need grippy socks which they sell there.”
“An amazing park centrally located in Dunedin. It offers an beautiful and impressive war memorial as well. Its a nice place to have a stroll or just chill down. Worth a visit if you are in the neighborhood.”
“Lovely quiet little location. Very tidy and well kept gardens. Great lookout over the port.”
“A little relaxing and calm place, despite being located next to the railway. This Chinese-themed garden is well worth a visit.”
“You can visit the world's only mainland colony of Royal Albatross at the tip of the Otago Peninsula in Dunedin, New Zealand. Small guided tours to a glassed hide allows viewing of some of the nesting albatross. To protect the albatross from human disturbance, the headland is not publicly accessible. You can see adults in flight with their three metre wingspans as they glide around the headland. The centre is free to enter but tours are charged. Uneven terrain, lot of walking. Toilets available. Cafes available on site. Before the walkabout tour, you are given a demonstration/lecture about the birds and the work of the centre. Popular with tourists. Wear comfy shoes, take water, wear hat, sunscreen. Parking is easy. Amazing place to visit. Great place for photography.”

“Amazing store, amazing staff Even new staff under training get to know regular customer preferences and in general they way the staff treat you is the best I've seen at any supermarket anywhere. Always clean and tidy and always has an atmosphere of welcome and efficiency. What I like the most is the age range of staff.”

“A hard climb but the view makes it all worthwhile.”
“Easy to climb and is full of historical geology. Strongly recommend it to all students and Arash. Bring enough water and enjoy a good half day or even a day, there are lots of long tracks around. There are 15 car park at the beginning, not busy at most of the times and with 2 series of 4 steps lader over the gates, you can reach the rest of tracks which are flat.”
“Neat wee park, close to Starfish & Salt cafés”
