Nature is very therapeutic. The air is good, the trees are beautiful, the air is cool, and there is a constant breeze. Come take a walk and enjoy the natural atmosphere. You can breathe easily. There are few people and many sheep.

Two things to share: Itβs a good walk from the car park to the reserveβs entrance. This can be challenging for children but the views are absolutely extraordinary. The loop walk leads to beach at two places, but itβs quite difficult to access because of sudden drop. Take care.

Okia Reserve is a New Zealand gem! The Pyramids and Victory Beach are stunning. The Yellow-Eyed Penguin Trust and Dunedin City Council do an amazing job maintaining the reserve.

Lovely place for a day mission, lovely tracks and a good beach as well, if you go at low tide , you can see a sunken ship, there's a loop walk with signs telling you about history of the wildlife and area, lovely place to visit with the pyramids as well. Highly recommend!! Sealions are on the beach so plenty of nature to look at.
