“Found our way here with a random stop while checking out the local area. Grabbed coffee and googled the reviews. Decided to try food, very reasonable prices compared to cafs in the city but there was no compromise on quality. Wicked stoked we came here, this place is awesome. Ginger slice was good but tan slice was the better. Thanks heaps.”
“Staff were friendly & answered our questions patiently. Coffee was delightful! We loved it, both the espresso & the milk were of great quality. Personally I loved my Mexican Iced Coffee — it was unique & delicious. Would recommend this place! It’s decently affordable too.”
“Great coffee and delicious food. Best selection of cabinet food we have seen in awhile.”
“I really enjoyed the cheese and mustard scones, they are Devine 10/10.”

“Beautifullly situated cafe ! - the most lovely view of rhe Beach and waterfront. Could sit for hours but had eaten the steak, bacon pie too quickly! It's a cosy environment and best seats at definitely away from the door, especially on cold days! Although the owners were quick to close the door when someone forgot to close it. The service was superb!”
“The best coffee ever I have. Thanks a lot Staff very nice and kindly. The vibes so warmly and lovey.”
“Coffee & Food --- both 10 out of 10. Coffee is not only delicious, it is also well presented(golden cream color & shape well drawn). I had toast sandwich today with up to 3 fillings only cost me $8! So delicious & great value for money. Let alone eating inside the most beautiful building of Dunedin so much like some of the arty buildings in lower Manhattan New York city. Love this place & will become my regular cafe now”
“The place was recommended by a fellow backpacker so i'd thought i'll come by to take a look. Not a big place but does have both indoor and outdoors sitting. Everyone's okie to share the table. Minimalistically decorated. Variety on the menu. I was in a dilemma on choosing what to eat and the owner shared what he preferred which wasnt the most expensive thing off the menu. Haha. Shows the love he has for the food and people than the profit. Awesome. I had Hash: its pulled pork and taters.. very well done, not overly salty. Well prepared. Hot chocolate, theres the cadbury and whittakers options. Always nice to know there's a choice. :) Street parking. Help urself to the water, by the counter. All in all, an enjoyable brunch out.”

“My Beautiful Daughter bought me here for Father’s Day (Sat). Never been here before one of the best mouse traps I’ve ever eaten and I eat a few but a stunning gourmet pie (Corned Beef) and I hope when you visit it’s still only eight dollars unbelievable value. Mosgiel it’s lucky to have such quality food in a cafe. DJ”
“Such a cool cafe! Loved the artistic approach and can visualise how awesome it would be to have an event there. I only got a cappuccino as I was exploring more of the city but it was a great cappuccino at that! Highly recommend coming to Maggie’s for your next cup of coffee!”
“Always a pleasant experience when shopping here. Great staff, brilliant prices and the food is always divine. Dangerous location for over spending and over eating.. but absolutely no complaints!”
“Nice setting for a meal, beautiful gardens to go wander around and spend some time with family. Food was superb, I think they didn't had their regular front of house team on as service was a little unsure of themselves. The brisket was top notch and filling. Good size portion for the price.”
“Good atmosphere! A great spot for a casual team meetup, hanging out with friends or even a date night! The cafe gets pretty packed after 6pm. Paid parking available right next door and on the roadside”
“This cafe is all heart. I came as a recommendation and could not resist coming back. The food, the atmosphere and the service was just top drawer. I highly recommend Helen and her team as a core part of the Cafe culture here in Dunedin. I so wish they were in Wellington.”
“A beautiful plant nursery and garden center with an on-site coffee shop – perfect for a visit any time of the day. They offer a great selection of rare and exotic plants alongside a wide range of garden tools and outdoor décor. The layout is spacious, with ample parking and easy access, making it a stress-free stop. Just across the parking lot, there’s a large pet store with plenty to explore. A wonderful destination for gardeners, plant lovers, and families alike.”
“PRECINCT cafe at Otago Museum is my regular place to catch up with colleagues and friends over coffee. Today, I had jasmine lime tea, which was incredibly refreshing and organic, instead of a tea bag. I love their gluten-free carrot cake. The staff were attentive and friendly as usual and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Overall, Precinct Café offers an exceptional dining/coffee experience that I highly recommend to anyone visiting Dunedin.”
