Absolutely Beautiful setting, nice friendly staff, excellent barman we had great cocktails Fab meals, a great size and the Chocolate Creme brulee Soo good!
We had the most wonderful afternoon tea made specially for us to celebrate a special birthday, the whole experience was first class right from our booking with Diane, food from the kitchen and waitstaff. The gardens were looking so good, really nice to be able to walk freely around them. Thank you for a great day Glenfalloch :-)
Nice setting for a meal, beautiful gardens to go wander around and spend some time with family. Food was superb, I think they didn't had their regular front of house team on as service was a little unsure of themselves. The brisket was top notch and filling. Good size portion for the price.

Walking around, you can enjoy the fresh fragrance of blooming flowers and breathe in the pure, crisp air. It’s a delight for the senses! Children will have a blast on the trampoline, while adults can simply soak in the peaceful, natural beauty. Just wish they can have more vegetarian options. The duck potatoes were an absolute treat – fresh and delicious! Everything about Glenfalloch feels so close to nature, making it a perfect spot for a family day out or a quiet retreat. Highly recommend for anyone looking to escape the city and immerse themselves in the beauty of the outdoors.
Wow! Just wow! The team at Glenfalloch have been amazing. We organised our wedding remotely from Australia, and choreographed it with the arrival in Dunedin of our cruise ship. Everything was perfect - venue, food, logistics, flowers, celebrant. The weather was great and showed off the spectacular gardens. Thanks so much to Alex, Monica and the team. You were fabulous.
First thing when you arrive, it’s the beautifully kept grounds and peaceful atmosphere that brings you in. Then it’s the great service staff and restaurant that’s definitely worth the price of admission. Food was impeccable. Everything we had tasted great and was a big surprise. Exploring the gardens brought a whole new perspective with cute birds that follow you when you cross the area. I loved my visit here.
O my! Really good food. Everything is super well made, the ice chocolate drink was superb, even had ice cream balls in it, the combination was done beautifully. The beef cheeks were extremely tender, which means the chef is showing off a little bit. Beef cheeks are normally very had to do right. Platter was really high quality. Atmosphere is warm and friendly. Pricing is just right for the type off food, but of course a more up market restaurant.
