   This cafe is a few km from my house. It's inside Wals Plant Land, so I often go there when I need to buy something for my garden. The cafe is in a big garden; there is a lake, mini golf and mini train. It's a great spot for a relaxed meal with delicious food, amazing views and excellent service. I am intolerant to gluten, so I always have several gluten-free choices.

   We were seated very promptly at lunch time, and the menu clearly states what can be made gluten-free. The young man serving us got us an extra plate when we said we would be sharing food without needing to be asked. He was also knowledgeable when I asked about where they sourced their gluten free bread from. We had the gluten-free French Toast, and the bread was nice and tall white bread and the bacon was nicely crispy. We also enjoyed some coffee and a GF Macadamia White Chocolate Caramel Slice (which I recommend!)

   Very great place for outing with friends or family. Good good , great service and there are in door outdoor tables. Staff was very friendly and great. Food was quick and tasty. After lunch we went for a walk around Wal's. Plenty of park. Not far from Dunedin. And recommends for family with kids.

   Always very busy when I'm visiting Mosgiel. Great food and service with a nice selection of sweets in the display. Nice surrounds with Wals gardens. A bit noisy - but to be expected with tiled floors.

   I went here for lunch over the Labour weekend and the whole experience was brilliant. The outdoor seating by the lake is stunning and the perfect place for a relaxing lunch. The waiting staff are friendly, professional and add to the whole experience. The food was lovely and I have zero complaints. This is a wonderful cafe and intend to return!
