“First time ordering from this particular store. It was a busy Friday night so expected to have to wait. Easy to order in person (didn’t have the app). The staff indicated it would may be a 30min wait, but it was only about 15 minutes! Good choice of pizzas for a great price, everyone happy with their selection.”
“Was ready to go before I arrived ordered online jumped in the car I live less than two minutes away amazing service and better food”
“The pizza is delicious as heck, and I would try buying here again, the staffs are really kind too!”
“My food is always cooked quickly and everything has been fresh. My orders have always been correct. The staff are quick and efficient.”
“Had this delicious pizza, it's always great to have it from this store. I just travel 15 mintues to buy pizza from here. Pineapple and chicken on the top. The front guy Garry is really awesome and a friendly man. Always deal with a smile on his face even during the busy hours. Keep up the good work Garry and rest of the team.”
“I recently placed a phone order with Domino’s, and I wanted to recognize Shane for her exceptional customer service. She was professional, patient, and very knowledgeable. I had quite a few questions, and she answered each one thoroughly and calmly. Shane made the entire ordering process smooth and enjoyable, and I truly felt like a valued customer. It's rare to find such a high level of service these days, and I really appreciate the positive experience she provided. Thank you!”

“I typically only order my pizzas online, but the staff have always been efficient and great when I have picked up.”
“Very good food. Quite possibly carrying the Kaiapoi economy. A++, except they could work on their car park delivery, but I understand as it gets very busy. Overall, second best business in Kaiapoi. :-) Cheers bois.”
“Thank you so much to the kind Indian gentleman who was working solo today at 2pm when I popped in to collect my daughter's online order. My car keys and alarm holder had fallen apart and he "creatively" helped me fix it back by using some price tags to temporarily hold it in place. Then I realised I had missed inserting the battery back and found it in my car, he again helped me with it plus pushing my car back into place (as I had partially reversed it before it died). All in all, it was a busy and hot day but he made it so much easier. Much appreciated that he was calm, polite and smiling all the time.”
“Wow! Emily delivered my pizza so quickly and politely greeted me at the door. Her service was incredible :)”
On the plate at SushiTree, the idea is Japanese‑leaning and well judged. Plates offer plenty without weighing things down. Broths and noodles keep good heat and snap. The team keeps things friendly and organised.
“We love this place! Best pizza & four meat sandwich (hot) & doughnuts & sourdough :) sooo fresh and delicious! Best place we’ve eaten at in christchurch. Also helpful and friendly staff and good coffee! 5/5”
“Had some really delicious Japanese food today! It’s not strictly traditional. It’s more of a Japanese fusion style and everything was super tasty. The atmosphere was great and the service was fantastic.”
“Very tasty Japanese food. I tried the chicken curry and fried chicken rice. Both very good.”
“We visited today as a family and ordered the Wagyu lunch set. The salad, kimchi, pickles, rice, and the tender, flavorful beef were absolutely delicious and melted in our mouths!!! The girls had so much fun grilling the meat themselves. We also tried the chicken karaage. it was big, crispy, and really tasty. We were so impressed by the kindness of the staff, especially the kind lady who served our table. Her attentive and friendly service made our meal even more memorable. Thank you!!!”
The kitchen at Teppanyaki Takao takes a simple, bistro‑style path and lets the food speak. A family‑friendly feel comes through naturally. The team keeps things friendly and organised. Portions are generous yet well judged.
Nori table - The Tannery leans into a pan‑Asian comfort approach with tidy execution. The room sits relaxed with an easy buzz. Dumplings and bowls carry clear, direct flavours. Front‑of‑house runs with calm, helpful energy.
“It's not the cheapest sushi but the selection is great and the premises is very nice and easy to order from. Lovely high ceiling and nice furniture. Even the wooden chopsticks and soy bottles feel premium compared to other sushi restaurants. I would advise eating in rather than takeway.”
“Absolutely the best Japanese restaurant and a real asset for Kaipoi. First time diners and food was magnificent and cooked with precision ,humor and flavors are to die for. Will definitely be back.”
“Delicious! Smash Browns and Chicken Fenders were very tasty and addictive. We felt they were perfectly seasoned, though some might find them a tad too salty depending on your preference. There are plant-based vegan and vegetarian options too. Great for a quick bite before or after flights or while waiting for your rental vehicle nearby. About a 10min walk from the airport terminal. There are boards showing real-time updates of departing and arriving flights. We dropped by for our first meal in the country after flying in, and came again for our final meal before flying off. Plenty of parking outside. Tables are a little sticky, and sometimes the benches during lunch hour have crumbs; could do with more thorough cleaning.”
“Absolutely loved this place! A cozy, family-run Japanese restaurant with amazing food and a welcoming atmosphere. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The staff were kind and attentive, making us feel right at home. Perfect spot for anyone who appreciates Japanese cuisine and warm hospitality!”
“I recently dined at Chichi Kitchen in New Zealand, and it was truly one of the best meals I've had this year. The culinary experience was exceptional, with each dish meticulously crafted using fresh, high-quality ingredients that showcased an expert balance of flavours. The presentation of the food was stunning, making each plate a visual delight as well as a gastronomic one. From the first bite to the last, every dish was a testament to the chef's skill and creativity. The service was outstanding, with attentive and friendly staff who made the experience even more enjoyable. They were knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations. The atmosphere at Chichi Kitchen is warm and inviting, creating a perfect setting for a memorable dining experience. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply enjoying a night out, Chichi Kitchen delivers on all fronts. I can't recommend Chichi Kitchen highly enough—it's a must-visit for anyone seeking exceptional cuisine in New Zealand.”
“Tasty comfy in big portion fresh sashimi. Also surprised with their sizzling lamb. It was perfectly cook soooo juicy and tanky and don't forget to order their desert!”
“Absolutely love this restaurant. Love the interior decor, amazing and attentive staffs with great service, and the food is spotless. Highly recommend to dine in and enjoy the vibe. Will visit again!”
“Sakura is a real “cherry” treasure well hidden inside Asian Mall. When we first found it, we couldn’t believe our luck. Small , family run Japanese restaurant with amazing options of both vegan and not vegan food. Our favourites are Agedashi Tofu, veggie tempura and seaweed salad which is must try ! There are some choices of sushi including vegetarian but if you ask they make it vegan. Plenty of choice of Sake as well for connoisseur of that drink. Staff is always nice and friendly and very polite. Since tables are limited booking is recommended especially on weekends as place is always packed. Sakura is No. 1 Japanese restaurant in town without doubt!”
