   This place is the best!! We were returning home after a long drive back from the west coast and this was the place the kids chose & but did they choose well! The $24 souvlaki special was right up their alley & filled them up which is hard to do some days! The freshness of the food was outstanding and the flavour delicious! The atmosphere in this place is great - blankets to keep you warm and cosy seating. There weren’t many others dining in but there were plenty of orders coming and going! We came here many years ago and loved it and this visit certainly didn’t disappoint! Entertainment book discount was a cherry on the top but we would’ve happily paid full price too!

   We had dinner at Zaafran today, and it was amazing! It’s a true paradise, also for vegetarians, with so many great options to choose from. On top of that, the service was super friendly, and the atmosphere was just perfect. We’ll definitely be back!

The experience was nothing short of delectable – each dish on the platter was a burst of flavor, and the onion bhajee was particularly outstanding, both delicious and filling. This establishment is a top choice for an enjoyable evening with friends, offering the best Moroccan cuisine in the South Island. Highly recommended!

   Food was beyond amazing. I ordered the Lamb Shank and loved it so much! The staff was really friendly and the Chef was very sweet to check if we needed something else. The place is very cozy and well-lit; very pleasing to the eyes.
