The food was lovely and it was a very enjoyable experience! The waiting staff were also very good and onto it and we were served very quickly. Our plates were also cleared very quickly. Very organised so our group of 8 didn't get the wrong food or anything. The food was flavourful and it was a great experience to watch our chef cook in front of us.
Food was great, and the portion was just right. We had the pleasure of ordering the Takao, which had everything. The couple who owns the place are very polite, and they cook exceptionally well. I wasn’t able to take photos of the teppanyaki grilling because there were others in front of us, but we will definitely be back.
The absolute best Teppanyaki! All the staff are super friendly, the chefs are absolutely amazing a real asset to Kaiapoi. Love the yummy desserts also.

This is a second time I try a Teppanyaki in NZ... The place has a good view on the second floor and is compact with small space. The staff are friendly and with good manners the English is a bit basic which can lead to some uncertainty but nothing major. My advice is to let the chef know that you prefer to leave it up to you to handle the salt from your table as sometimes the food can be on the salty side especially having the soya sauce added as a garnish to the food. In general it's still a good place to enjoy in Kaiapoi and there's room for improvement.
