They were prompt and reliable with airport pick-ups and were also very obliging with dropping us off at a family event. The motel rooms were large, light and airy, and very well equipped. We appreciated the space of the one bedroom unit. The gardens are immaculate and very colourful. We’ll be back!”

“After a 9 hour flight and a night stay in Auckland, we were pleasantly surprised at our accommodations at Sumner Re Treat. We were greeted by Chris and she escorted us to our room. It was not only spotless, but very attractively decorated. Our accommodations came with all the necessary amenities, the decor was contemporary, and the location was excellent. There were numerous eateries within walking distance. Best of all, it was a short walk to the beach. I would definitely recommend Sumner Retreat if you plan on visiting Christchurch and want to get away from the City Centre.”

“Travelled in end Sept / early Oct 2018 in their 4 berth campers and it ran like a dream. We rented the 2 berth from Affordable for the first time in 2016 and decided to upgrade this time round. Absolutely no regrets on that decision - the 4 berth camper had no issues at all and ran better than the camper booked (from one of the big name brands eg britz mighty etc) by our relatives we were traveling with. “We are so glad we’ve found Eyrewell Kennels! It was the first time we’ve had our 6 month old puppy Taika stay in a kennel. From the moment of initial contact they put our mind at ease with what to expect and once arriving you could see immediately what a great facility it is. Huge outdoor grass areas with separate section’s for different dogs and very clean indoor kennels with air conditioning. Taika loved his stay and will happily be booking future use at Eyrewell. “From the moment Fi showed my partner and I around Waipuna, we knew it was where we wanted to get married. Fi was warm, bubbly, and hilarious—she made us feel instantly comfortable and genuinely excited. Sarah was just as amazing, keeping everything running smoothly with her quick replies and eye for detail. The day itself was more perfect than we could’ve hoped for. The staff were lovely, the setting was stunning, and our guests couldn’t stop telling us how much they loved Fi (and her generous drink pours) and how beautiful the venue was. Being able to stay on-site the night before and after made everything so much easier, especially with setting up and packing down. I felt so calm on the day, knowing Fi and Sarah had everything under control. Everyone was blown away by the views, and our florals (done in-house by Katrin) were absolutely gorgeous. Waipuna was the perfect wedding venue for us—we couldn’t recommend it more!”
