   Absolute fantastic place to hold a wedding! The accommodation package and the option to supply your own liquor separates it from other venues. The Waipuna team are so friendly and make the whole day run very smoothly taking care of even the small details. Would highly recommend to anyone!

   The team was incredibly well-organized, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. Sarah was especially amazing—super friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. Anytime we had questions, she responded right away and made us feel completely supported. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views, and the rooms were spotless. We’re so grateful to have celebrated our big day here! Our wedding is what we've dreamed for. Thanks to the amazing team!

   The Waipuna team are outstanding. We got married there this past Saturday and it was an incredible time. They are so lovely, organized, friendly and were so supportive in the process of planning our wedding. And the view is just incredible!    From the moment Fi showed my partner and I around Waipuna, we knew it was where we wanted to get married. Fi was warm, bubbly, and hilarious—she made us feel instantly comfortable and genuinely excited. Sarah was just as amazing, keeping everything running smoothly with her quick replies and eye for detail. The day itself was more perfect than we could’ve hoped for. The staff were lovely, the setting was stunning, and our guests couldn’t stop telling us how much they loved Fi (and her generous drink pours) and how beautiful the venue was. Being able to stay on-site the night before and after made everything so much easier, especially with setting up and packing down. I felt so calm on the day, knowing Fi and Sarah had everything under control. Everyone was blown away by the views, and our florals (done in-house by Katrin) were absolutely gorgeous. Waipuna was the perfect wedding venue for us—we couldn’t recommend it more!

   I attended a family wedding here recently. The staff are beyond incredible. So helpful, so eager to help make your event/stay as good as possible. Incredibly friendly. They were a huge part of why the day ran smoothly. The access road is a bit bumpy. The taxi van wasn't sure they would make it but given it's a unpaved uphill, not the fault of Waipuna at all - just something to keep in mind when bringing your vehicle up if it struggles on unpaved roads. The location itself is GORGEOUS. The view is outstanding. The ceremony had the backdrop looking out over the Canterbury plains. Some friendly alpacas came to have a look during the ceremony which was quite funny. I didn't have a chance to look at the rooms available there but given how stunning the rest of the venue/decor is, it would not surprise me if they were very well kept and beautifully laid out. Beyond highly recommend Waipuna Estate for any event or stay. Thank you for an amazing day!

   We got married 8 weeks ago at Waipuna. We only ever looked at 1 venue in person and we knew straight away it was meant to be. We had made the difficult decision to postpone and Sarah was understanding and accommodating and never made any question or email feel like a burden. Every single guest still talks about how perfect the venue was. Sarah and the team made our dream day even more perfect than we could have ever imagined.    Sarah, where do I begin?! You’re fri*^n amazing! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for everything you did to help me and Tom achieve our dream wedding! Waipuna Estate was the first location we looked at, and it was love at first sight ha ha. I joked to our friends and family that you were our wedding planner, because honestly you did so much for us and you made the whole process of planning a wedding stress free and enjoyable. I was so needy, sending numerous emails and you were always so quick to reply, never bothered. My family were amazed with how attentive and involved you were in making sure the day would go smoothly.    Everything about Waipuna is incredible! Our wedding here was made even more special because of the staff, facilities, and location! The staff are friendly, professional and approachable, and nothing’s too hard to organise! Sarah, Fiona, and the rest of the team are a complete asset and add value with everything they do! The location is easy enough to get to, while feeling like you’re in the middle of nowhere. And what an amazing outlook over the Canterbury plains! The facilities are top notch and were the perfect setting for our wedding! We can’t thank you enough for making our day as special as it deserved to be!
