“Highly recommend! Amazing food, lots of cabinet food as well as the menu. Great service and nice coffee. Won't go anywhere else now. Eggs Benedict is amazing.”
“Cafe Edge is a good place to stop for a coffee and a quick bite to eat. It has a quiet atmosphere and you don't feel rushed at all. The staff are all nice and also patient. I would recommend visiting. Thank you and I appreciate everyone working there.”
“Nice place to have a cup of coffee and see people. Very friendly staff. One of the best scone I have tried in the city.”
“Great service, tastey food with friendly helpful staff.”
“Ok supermarket, which is well presented. Plenty of car parking and centrally located in Rangiora. Countdown has a good variety of products. Reasonably priced with most of products that you will need. Good customer service at the check outs and reasonably easy to find assistance if you need help. This supermarket is an ok place to get what you need. Nothing brilliant stands out about this Countdown apart from it's a quite new building, so it is has a very good layout inside and outside.”
“Very friendly service from the little bubbly Asian lady, that made our day better after the disappointment of 15% surcharges for public holdays and thinking we wouldn't get a coffee and breakfast. No surcharge, thats a bonus, the coffee was good as was the food.”
“Very warm and welcoming place. It is what one would imagine as a place to eat while thinking about a village or a small town like Lincoln. The food is good. I had so many good memories about this place. On a cold and windy day getting a coffee for myself and hot chocolate for my kids. On Friday after long and exhausting week lunch coffee with a pie. And today with all the rain we get at the moment delicious spicy pumpkin soup was the most appreciated thing for me and my wife.”
“Very nice and polite staff and the owner carefully explained the hotpot. Hotpot was pretty good and the mixture of the sesame paste was great! This store lives up to its name.”
“I had a wonderful time. I enjoyed a hibiscus tea with the Bubble And Squeak for breakfast.”
“Ordered our hot chocolate. We were going to get a cheesescone each, but there was only one left. So decided against it. Got our hot chocolates, just as we were leaving a fresh bat h came out. We should have asked but didnt. Excellent service and hot chocolate was one of the best we have had.”
“Great pub to have a catch up and have a cold beer”
“Valentines Hornby is our favourite place to eat! We go at least once a month and cannot fault it. The food is fantastic - a great variety, very fresh, always beautifully cooked, and nicely presented. They often experiment with new dishes but you can rely on the favourites to always be there. The food is always hot and constantly replenished, and there is a great salad bar too. The dessert is amazing! Such a variety, including a chocolate fountain and ice cream machine. I love all the small portion mousses, meringues, cheesecake, hot dishes and the sides, like berries, cream and sauces. The lemon roulade is so good! The staff are very friendly and helpful and the service is great too. We cannot praise this place enough - do yourself a favour and check it out! Great value for money too.”

“Weekly visits. Always our first go to option. Lots of gf options and the drinks are the best as they use real fruit (frozen) for the drinks not syrup. Awesome food and service”
“We visited La Luna last night and were so impressed! The pork belly was absolutely delicious – perfectly crispy skin and juicy, tender meat. Great value for money and the staff were super friendly.Highly recommended❤️❤️❤️”
“The first time, I've been to a subway where the workers were happy. And the first time I've everrrr had piping hot meatballs in a sub. Lovely people and great teamwork by the looks of it.”
“Absolutely the best coffee in chch on Sunday. Friendliest staff and every coffee is amazing. Helen is the queen of the barrister's at the market and super consistent. A+”
“Pretty good, been there once like 3 years ago. Mum got a coffee and I got a hot chocolate. Pretty cheap and tastes good. Love y'all ”
“The coffee here is a lovely dark roast and made to a high standard. There's some nice cabinet food, but I recommend the menu options, which are all delicious and reasonably priced. The seating is super-comfy and there's heaps of tables. Easy parking.”
“Great drinks, berry smoothie was the best. Breakfast was very good, eggs poached perfectly and the best tomato sauce I've had in ages. Excellent service, all staff were helpful, prompt and made me feel welcome. A few other cafes in Christchurch could learn a lot from these guys. Will definitely be back.”
“Stewarts coffee has some of the oldest ties to the production and import of coffee beans in nz. Try it out”
“One of the tastiest breakfasts I've had in Chch, the hash cake was very good. It was good that they serve it with relish a lot of places never provide a sauce option. The only downside is the service was less than desirable, I found the staff to be vacant and rude and the servers to be unfriendly which I wasn't happy about. Very lucky the chef is keeping this review 5/5 instead of 3-4/5.”
“This is the place to go when you want a decent large coffee and simple but delicious food. Prices are reasonable and the blueberry muffins are the best I’ve found anywhere. This is where you should go if you’re looking for a classic kiwi cafe without all the bells and whistles, just good honest food and friendly people.”
“Beautiful staff and amazing customer service. Hot chocolate and food divine. Have been many times when in NZ and everytime is the same.”
