Amazing flavours, loved the starters and steak & brisket burger. Highly recommend to eat here in a relaxed atmosphere. They have a huge outdoor area, so roll on summer!
Fun place. Great waitress. Yummy food (huge serve of smoked brisket nachos). Lots of cool items for sale from art to jewelery to candles, etc.
Nice bright spot to have a leisurely lunch. Nacos were tasty and reasonably priced.
Mean spot.. the beast platter never fails. Summer is coming the garden bar is the place to be in Christchurch especially if you're on the east side. Great atmosphere great owners. Secretly love this place.
Had been here once with my family and friends that had recommended the place and had a good time, fully intending to come again. But since seeing information about recent events here I’m not comfortable supporting a business that has since shown unapologetic support for blatant discrimination and demeaning stereotyping by not only tolerating, but awarding patrons dressed as golliwogs at an event. This is such a shame, we had thought it was a great place but this is just not in line with basic human dignity.
The food was great and at an excellent price point. However, the service left a lot to be desired. Staff prioritised talking to each other, rather than serving customers. Water was not offered, we were not meal checked and our plates weren’t cleared. We were also not offered dessert or second drinks or told of any specials. I hope management can train staff on the basics because I really think this place could flourish.
Love this place it’s our new favourite went with the family. So accommodating for kids great playground just outside a big window to watch them play and the service was outstanding so friendly and helpful. Food was really nice and kids menu was better than expected they really go out of their way. Nice casual atmosphere it’s an art gallery and restaurant in one - so cool. Highly recommend and will definitely be going back. Thanks so much Team
