“A wonderful dairy that has literally anything you could need or want. The people who run it are lovely and the chips are actually the best!!”
“Outstanding customer service, friendly, staff followed through with my complicated order. Then to our surprise we were overwhelmed with the attention to detail. I personally loved the micro greens and swirl of beetroot for presentation. All three of us gave five stars for the size and taste of our brunch. Coming from Christchurch for the short drive was well worth it. You won’t be disappointed!”
“Really enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service. Very attentive helpful staff. Enjoyed trying a couple of cocktails. Really enjoyed the drama of the stone grills. Great touch with the branded burger buns. Only slight improvement would be for the Jameson jeus as it had no flavour at all, but a super easy fix”
“Delicious new muesli on breakfast menu. Also makes a tasty, moreish scroggin for scoffing on the go. Was peaceful when myself and 11 month old came in for coffee and food. Team were very accomodating, adapting breakfast with more yogurt so baby could have some too. Amazing coffee.”
“Aimee was so lovely and helpful! An absolute delight. The other staff member in the store was giving someone else great service. Lovely trip :)”
“The veg and creme cheese filo was so delicious. The staff made us a fresh croissant to suit our taste which was just marvelous. It's hard to get a good hot chocolate these days but this one was perfect! The new caramel latte was also scrumptious and the staff so friendly. Nice and warm inside on a winter's day”
“Had the beat Americano coffee and cinnamon scroll straight out of the oven. $8 for both! Barista had just taken care of a group of 15 or so students and was very efficient. Perked up this lad while my wife was in hospital. THANK YOU!”
“I just had my breakfast. Good service, good food and good environment. It took 15 minutes to serve me food that I ordered from the menu. My friends ordered from the cabinet that was served within 5 minutes. We were very happy with everything.”
“Great food and coffee and fantastic service. Highly recommend Honey Cafe!”
“Classic pub. $20 steak night and the lot. Need to return and check out the Tiki garden bar.”

“We had a lovely breakfast, Emma service was fantastic she was very accommodating for us and our daughter. Makes a killer coffee and we loved the shrimp roll. Really lovely atmosphere. Would head there again.”
“I loved everything about this space. An old school with a range of different businesses in the old classrooms. The court yard was filled with tables and chairs and a very relaxed vibe to go with it. I had the Eggs Benedict, a delicious coffee and piece of scrumptious slice for the road later. The Bene was that good I haven’t stopped thinking about it. The cabinet was full of healthy options with plenty of gf to. I think I’ve just found my new stop over.”
“It's a really friendly New World it's a bit further than our local one but we worth the trip. Fresh meats, pies, pastries and great selection of fruit and veggies it also has ready made section that has a fantastic fresh bowl with rice, edamame and chicken.”
“They have specials every day of the week. Love that it is supported by mature customers. The food is tasty, have had pizza on 2 occasions and a liver and bacon dish on one. The gravy is devine for meat lovers. Worth returning. The staff are very friendly and wrlcoming.”
“Our first time dining here and we were very impressed. The food was tasty, with a great range of healthy options for specific food requirements. Service was timely and very friendly. We will definitely be back.”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stopped in with the family while visiting New Zealand and really enjoyed it. The pies were excellent – fresh, tasty and exactly what you want from a local bakery. Coffee was decent and did the job too. Great spot for a quick bite with the family. Would happily come back for the pies again!”
“Went for lunch today at Raspberry Café. I’ve been to this place many times and have always loved their cakes — they’re my favourite! Today I found out the café is now under new ownership, which is great to see. The service was excellent, and I really appreciated that the new owner personally visited tables to check in with customers and get feedback — a wonderful touch. They have plenty of hospitality experience, and I’m excited to see some new items showing up on the menu soon.”
“Absolutely scrumptious breakfast! We’ve been touring the South Island for almost 2 weeks and this has been one of the most divine breakfasts we have had. Great prices too for the sizes.”
“First time here and OMG it's incredible. Had the eggs benedict with hash browns and hot salmon and it was the best I've had in a very long time. A decent amount of salmon compared to other places. The service was great. They took my order with a friendly manor and a service with a smile when delivering my meals. Lovely vibe in the space. Lots of seating and lovely open space.”
“Saturdays Cafe is a hidden gem! Tucked away by He Puna Taimoana Hot Pools, it's New Brighton's best kept secret! A matcha lovers dream. I had the Iced Strawberry Matcha and Matcha French Toast. Both had very good, strong matcha flavours in them. The French Toast had dollops of matcha cream cheese, chocolate, and caramel sauces, making it a very sweet treat. Yum! The cutest little cafe. Beautiful views of the New Brighton Pier. I absolutely love the decor. Staff were so lovely and provided a warm atmosphere.”
“Unfortunately, there wasn't time to take photos, but if you have time, stop by and try their dishes. They are great tasting, portion size, and quality/price ratio. If it's Saturday night, you might have to wait 15/20 minutes, but it's worth it! They also have highchairs and baskets with toys (which was very useful for our little one).”
