    Asked for advice about where might compassionately help me with a baby possum. The man I spoke to was rude, uncompassionate and told me to have it killed, no help whatsoever. Really shocked to be greeting with such hostility over a baby animal, despite its legal status.

    These volunteers are angels. I found a baby bird on my driveway, presumably fallen from its nest with no sign of a nest or mum around. I struggled to care for it so the next day I brought baby bird in here. These people were welcoming and caring and said they’d give it the best chance of survival. They also keep in touch with progress. Can’t thank these people enough.
