I came in for a wisdom tooth extraction today. I was quite nervous, but the dentist explained everything clearly and put me at ease. The procedure was fast, precise, and almost painless. The aftercare instructions were very clear, and I’m recovering really well. I highly recommend Hua Gao!
Had a "distress" dental appointment with Hua Gao yesterday morning at 11.30 a.m sharp for a scale & polish and replacement of a front tooth filling. Mr Gua carried out the repair and scale/polish in a timely and most expert manner. The impression is of a dental surgery which runs like clockwork. Iconic dentist (Dr Morag MacPherson) a fellow Scot has retired.Thankfully, exceedingly lovely and efficient, receptionist Angelina is still with the practice which was a point of continuity for me in a sea of change in the new location at 164 Williams Street. The new surgery treatment rooms are certainly state of the art with the most hi-tech equipment which is a key selling point. Also adjacent municipal parking is a definite plus in terms of location convenience relative to the villa location. Frankly, I am naturally change averse but I do hope to build a relationship of trust with Dr Gua going forward for my regular dental check ups which are a high priority for me with Kaipoi a convenient location for me relative to Christchurch.
I had a tooth extracted recently, and my dentist made the whole experience so much better than I expected. He was incredibly gentle and explained everything in a calming way. The actual extraction was so quick and smooth—I honestly didn’t feel a thing. I walked out relieved and grateful. If you’re nervous about getting a tooth pulled, I can’t recommend this dentist enough.
Not impressed . Went for a simple tooth extraction and the guy made a meal of it . Had to numb me up 3 times then took forever to get the job done . The place is like walking into some 3rd world country clinic , a building that looks like it should be condemned and the old equipment looks the same as when I were at school 35 years ago. The website has several dentists listed but it’s only one guy called Hua gao . Empty car park should have told me what I needed to know .
Had issues with a back broken tooth that never played up and of course over Labour Weekend it did !!!! Went in on Tuesday and got an appointment Wednesday, had it removed and a very reasonable price. Excellent friendly service, highly recommend.
Absolutely recommend dentist Hua Gao. A beautiful practice that gave expert care while away from home
I had to have a tooth extracted. Dentist was just great, Really painless and only took 10 mins. All the staff were very friendly and we are now going to make them our permanent dentists.
