   They do the best chips I've ever had from a fish n chip shop. They aren't as thick but not shoe string size and are so crispy and crunchy. The scoop size is also bigger than other places. They put the perfect amount of salt on them too. The fish is always large and consistent. Great prices but you get more for your money. Great staff and they make the food really quick. Ive also ordered chicken chow mein there before which wasn't the best. Could have done with more flavour but the Veg was fresh and cooked well and the dish had a great amount of chicken so it was still worth it. Thanks for being such a great fish n chip shop

   I have purchased several times via Uber Eats and each time the food has gotten worse. I only kept trying because Sun Ning used to be really good but that's it for me. Disgusting, old tasting, poor service, cold food and expensive for what it is. What a shame to see the Sun Ning become this. The people that started it really did a great job with the most basic of food, and the place can no longer provide even that.

   Large variety of Chinese food and Fish & Chips. The service is always efficient. Fish & Chips: Fish batter is crispy, chips are clean and delicious. Hotdog is a saveloy if you like that. Chinese meal: Always end up getting Beef (steak) & black bean and the combination fried rice. Both a HUGE, full of meat and veges. Always lasts us a few meals given how big they are, and yet all very reasonably priced. Our local go-to Fish & chip shop and Chinese place.

   Sun Ning is AMAZING!! We drove across town to try it and it will be our new go to for great Chinese food. The servings are super generous, there is a lot of meat and they are big pieces too, they were very reasonably priced, the chicken chowmein and chicken and cashew were loaded with meat as well as heaps of delicious veges. The beef in the fried rice was so tender. The sweet and sour pork was still a little bit crunchy which was lovely, with a perfectly balanced sweet but tangy sauce, and delicious won tons too. Thoroughly enjoyed, thank you! Also very busy at 6pm so is a good sign, and seemed to be quick cooking and getting the food out to customers. Top marks from us.

   My "go-to" dishes when getting Chinese takeaway are: Sweet & Sour Pork, Beef/Steak in Black Bean Sauce and Combination Fried Rice, And this takeaway makes them really well. But the Sweet & Sour Chicken, was very average, to me. They make it by battering a piece of chicken breast, then cut it into slices & combine it with the veges & sauce. I mentioned this because although I prefer the Sweet & Sour dishes I buy to contain individual meat pieces battered & deep fried (as they do with their Sweet & Sour Pork) I know some people will no doubt prefer the way they do their Sweet Sour Chicken.

   Best Chinese Takeaways in Christchurch! Sun Ning Takeaways are the best Chinese Takeaways I have ever had. The servings are not only generous but everything is fresh and delicious from the wontons to the chow meins. Thoroughly recommended

   Just received our order and very disappointed. The pineapple ring was coated on sugar and the bacon in the burger wasn't cooked. We asked for 2 scoops but just over 2 dozen chips Very disappointing

   Chips, Raw Fish, Raw Spring Roll, Raw The Pineapple Ring they put cinnamon and sugar on???, Raw If you order the chicken you might die. DANGEROUS. Worst fish and chips I've ever experienced.
