Awesome huge servings of great tasting food. 1 order was easily enough for 2 people. During winter the wait is very cold.
Was it worth the 45min wait as a walk in order, yes yes it was. Huuuge portion, going to last me 3-4 meals. Taste fresh too, not greasy. Very cold in the shop and recommend phoning ahead as you will cut your wait time in half.
This was our first time at Moon Wah. And it was worth the $42 we spent. Definitely would go back
Big portion ! I went before they open on 4.30pm, have two car was waiting for open too! The phone order was non stop ringing while I wait for mine, update menu for reference and the picture of the roster pork fried rice can divide to two- three meals !
Love moon wah, have been coming here for Chinese and fish + chips for years! Be prepared for a long wait time though, best to go in as they often take their phone off the hook due to how busy they are. Sad that they have stopped doing their signature battered sausages :-( Great value for money and huge quantity of food.
My family of 5 lives in the western suburb and we decided to try takeaway here because of the good reviews. Unfortunately we won't come back since waiting is too long. We ordered sweat and sour pork, chicken chow mein and chicken fried rice. The amount of food was huge but chow mein noodles were soggy and it tasted bland. We dumped the whole noodles. After all, we found it not worthy of coming back.
I've been going to Moonwah for years, just for their chinese. I always buy their Sweet & Sour Pork which will cost you about $17, however they load up the tray and I'm always finishing the rest the very next day. You do have to wait between 30-45 minutes, however it is well worth it.
Always massive meals. Great value for money. And always such Delicious meals!
If your looking for Quantity this takeaways is the best place to come. I have a family 7 and it feeds us well. And we end up having leftovers. But the downfall would be the waiting time as some days I've come and people have preordered over the phone. But overall nice Fried Rice dishes I don't like the fish but thats my opinion.
