    Simple and unassuming atmosphere. Friendly owner who is willing to customize if she's lacking some ingredients. Big serving of delicious food that feels home cooked, value for money. Be prepared for long wait if there are many orders as she's doing everything herself.

    Small Asian eatery with wide variety of food options BUT… it’s a one-person show. We waited a whole hour for two bowls of noodles. Another group of customers had to re-order after waiting for an hour because the staff lost the order chit; while another group of customers requested for a refund and left. Food was alright, comforting Asian food, but wouldn’t wait an hour for this. Shop also has quite a lot of flies which was not the most hygienic.

    Food is worth waiting for! It’s a one woman show cafe which means the only staff is the chef. It feels like my nan is cooking for me so will absolutely come back! There’s an hour wait during dinner time but could use this time having quality chat with your mates or fam. An absolute gem in Christchurch!

    Fantastic little gem, hidden away behind the tired sign. This food is the most delicious I’ve had in Christchurch yet- and I can see why the reviews are so good. The lady cooking is a one man band- arguably more impressive than AFG who has a whole crew behind the scenes). The wait is worth it. We had the fried rice and curry laksa. Definitely coming back.

    Loved this place - we got the Laksa and Char Hor Fun (gravy noodles). Just like others said, can be slow since only one women works there. She is kind and takes care of her craft - also just a light reminder that she is the only one working there and just trying to make a living herself. I can imagine right now she can’t justify paying another employee given increasing costs etc. If you don’t have the patience to wait around, then you might be disappointed.
