   The food is yum and pretty cheap depending on what you get. Dumplings are yummy. But I wish Pete was still serving as the older little Asian woman gives you hardly any rice and has over charged me like 4 times now.

   Visited Dumplings on Riccarton for an early dinner last Saturday. The restaurant is open plan which connects to the mall; they also have outside seating but it wasn't available this day; upon entering it looked clean and tidy. The menu was varied and had lots of options including vegetarian; the food ordered was Spicy Beef Noodles and Chicken Fried Rice. The plates were larger than expected; the chicken was seasoned well but was just a tad dry and I used the free chilli oil and soy sauce to flavor the rice even more. The noodles however were exceptional, broth was full of flavor and the beef was tender. Will visit again to try out the dumplings.

   Good price. But not the kind of fried rice I like. I am Taiwaneses, and fried rice in my country is deeply fried with no sauce on it. The rice is short grain in Tawan, which I prefer.

   I first tried Dumplings when i was 17, so happy coming back years later and it tastes as good (if not better than i remembered). I may have talked about $2 rice for years to my partner before we moved to Christchurch, now it's one of our favorite treats. The bread is too hard to pass up. Ka pai!

   Great place to share a plate of rice, I'm not so find of the sauce the pour on the rice, but the price made up for that. They have a good selection of food items that were reasonably priced. The dine in section of this shop was clean and tidy. I recommend this as a food stop.

   Honey Chicken. $16.50. Felt like who ever is cooking this has lost their passion for delivering good quality food. This was precooked shredded Chicken with a Gravy type sauce supposed to be honey. On fried rice with no taste either. I also ordered off the menu a piece of lemon Chicken. Not a piece of chicken, more like a piece of processed meat with a battery type coating..NO LEMON FLAVOURS. This was delivered via Door Dash. I WON'T RECOMMEND this place ever. An absolute waste of money.
