“Highly recommended for everyone in the family. A beautiful free (donations are welcome) museum, filled with far more aircrafts than we initially expected. Lots to read and discover, displays were well put together and the pacing through the exhibits is perfect. If you need a break, there is a simple cafe, a lovely little gift shop and peaceful grounds. Wish we had more time to explore this past visit. We will have to set aside more time the next visit!”

“I can’t recommend the lead climbing course with Will highly enough. I’d done the course before and the instructor was really knowledgeable, but found the information a bit overwhelming. This time, Will paced the learning really well and gave us heaps of hands-on practice, which made all the difference. By the time we made it onto the crag at the end of the second course, we all felt confident, safe, and comfortable lead climbing and cleaning. Will’s a fantastic instructor—friendly, fun, and incredibly knowledgeable—but what stood out most was his ability to teach in a way that supports genuine understanding and long-term retention. He doesn’t just tell you what to do—he helps you understand why you're doing it, which made everything click. Loved it from start to finish and would absolutely recommend to anyone wanting to build solid skills and confidence in the centre as well as on the rock.”

“Our child has been going to sweet pea for almost a year and has thrived. The teachers are really hands on and always available to discuss their progress and how the day has been. Each day there and new and exciting activities set up and the environment is perfect for busy toddlers and has a really nice homey feeling. Having an excellent chef on staff means that the kids are getting healthy and varied food. We have loved our experience with all of the staff and are excited for our second child to be starting in a couple of months.”

“Our daughter attended Kindercare-Addington for over a year, starting in the Tui Room and later moving to the Pukeko Room. We couldn’t be happier with the care and support she received. The teachers have been so accommodating to her needs — from helping with potty training to teaching her songs, and basic facts that toddler should know. One thing that really impressed us is how well they encouraged healthy eating habits. Our daughter now enjoys vegetables and fruits that many parents struggle to get their kids to eat — like carrots, cucumber, capsicum, and even onions! From the very first day I visited, I noticed how well the school maintains cleanliness and hygiene, which was a major deciding factor in enrolling my toddler. It’s been wonderful to watch her grow in confidence, skills, and healthy habits during her time here. Sadly, we have to move her to another preschool due to our recent house move, but we are very grateful for everything that Kindercare-Addington has done for our daughter. Highly recommended!”

“I only have good things to say about Annabel’s - we absolutely love it! Our daughter started in the nursery, then the pre-k & is currently in the kindy, and truly thrives there. The teachers are outstanding- so caring, fun & organised, and have been so amazing helping my daughter transition to each room. There are so many fun activities - singing, dancing, arts, crafts, outdoor fun + more. My son has just started in the nursery & I am excited for him to be starting his Annabel’s journey.”

“Our son has just started at Huntsbury Preschool and I couldn’t recommend it higher enough. He has settled in so well and that’s all thanks to the amazing teachers. They have been so kind and nurturing towards him. They really get to know each individual child and their whanau. What I noticed in particular is the wonderful ratios for children to teachers - It is a truly a special place, with beautiful teachers and a gorgeous natural, outdoor setting. The manager ( Nesa), always welcome you with a beautiful smile, is quickly to sort anything requested and make everything work well with her organisation and warm attitude. Each room my son have been I fell in love with the teachers and the way they work with the kids, they are respectable, fun, kind and I appreciate the passion they have to spend time, to be around the kids. I just love them! If you are looking for a childcare where things work well and your child is happy I highly recommend House Of Wonder .”

“I would give more stars if possible. We just had our sons birthday party there today and it was a blast. The party room was set up before I arrived, I was also able to arrive before the party to set up our theme decorations. The staff are super friendly and great with the kids. And all the kids loooooved running around and jump in the play area. I recommend to all who are keen. Amazing place will be coming back for more fun again.”

“Fantastic restaurant — one of the best Indian places around! Tried their chicken tikka masala and sahi paneer , both were bursting with flavour. Service was fast and friendly. Highly recommend Indian Ocean for anyone who loves authentic, high-quality Indian food.”

“Waka Huia is the most wonderful place, very child-centred and in a calm/ relaxed/ family environment. Different aged kids all play together, the big kids look out for the little ones, lots of tuakana-teina opportunities. The kaiako are awesome educators, highly experienced and genuinely loving and kind. My daughter has grown a lot under their gentle guidance. She loves the animals (chickens and visiting lambs), outside play year round, cups of tea, dress-ups and treasures (shells, wool) to play with.”

“The staff played a crucial role in my son's transition from his previous Best Start program. Their friendly and welcoming demeanor made the process easy and helped him make new friends. The activities and programs for the kids are well-prepared and provide a lot of useful information for parents. The photos of the activities show that my son has a great time at preschool, and I feel confident and safe leaving him there.”

“Beautiful place, larger than most. Its nice to have a dedicated playground for babies, toddlers and small children. Love the team at Wigram Chipmunks they make amazing coffees! the best I've had a long time. We went there for a birthday party and they are an absolute dream to work with, a business that caters to families.”

She loves her teachers whom are warm and supportive with her learning. She loves the big outdoor play area with loads of room for the children. Annabels is her favourite place.”
