If i could 0 stars I would. Came with my 3yr old 11 and 12 year old. 12 year old to old to play now but planned to have her watch the 3 year old for a bit so i could enjoy a coffee while watching them. Told no teens on the playground. Really? She cant watch her 3 year old for 10mins. Ridiculous. Went to launch pad instead
I was recently at Chipmunks Papanui for a few hours with a couple of kids, I was welcomed by a very friendly young man called Liam. During the hours I was there, Liam did an excellent job of keeping the premises, tables and chairs clean and hygienic. He worked endlessly, with a smile on his face, ensuring a safe, clean environment for our tamariki. He waved us off, with stickers for the kids and a big smile on all our faces. You have an excellent staff member in Liam and the facilities were all well maintained. We will be back.
Great easy way to have a birthday party. No mess, no fuss and the kids go home happy and exhausted. The staff are amazing. Our helper was the best! Great prices for a group of 8. Enjoyable experience for the kids and adults alike. Kids were given paper bracelets on way in so the staff knew were with the party. They are even given a big jug of cold water with paper cups as they get thirsty running around. The party room gets very loud but is perfect with the birthday child chair. The food was hot and delicious. Brought a wrap and was huge was pleasantly surprised! Was delicious. Overall worth it!
Chipmunks is awesome – huge playground, slides for days, and the kids never stop smiling. Great spot for burning energy and keeping everyone happy. Only downside? One staff member named Summer. She was so rude. you’d think I asked her to demonstrate how to play on the playground. Everyone else was friendly, but her attitude really ruined the vibe. Other than that, Chipmunks is a total win for families. Just hope Summer isn’t on the counter when you go.

This place was so great! I went to a Chipmunks in Wellington recently and was really put off by what a dive it was, but the Papanui Chipmunks was really nice! I came with my 11 month old and the 0-4 area was super spacious with lots of play equipment to interact with and it was clean. The changing area was also spacious and well looked after. The place was properly staffed too and the staff were friendly and quick to take orders and serve food. I’ll definitely be back! ❤️
Today I took my children to Chipmunks Papanui and they had so much fun. A young lad named Liam (staff) stood out today. His duty when we arrived was to handout the ice creams and watch the kids decorate them with lots of yummy treats. He had exceptional customer service skills and smiled whilst talking to the kids. We were there for majority of the day and every time I seen him he was hard at work. Great work ethic for a young guy and such a great attitude. This is very rare these day. 10/10 Liam, your parents should be very proud. Thanks Chipmunks Papanui.
We had a bad experience here, being policed at door about not being able to bring our own food in that we packed of fresh fruit and sandwiches, or being allowed to have a pass out to go to car and eat them, we had choice to buy things like pizzas burgers slurpies ($25+) for children? We ordered coffee and it came in a takeaway cup when we were obviously sitting in Total waste of plastic. Kids had a play but not nearly as much to do as other playgrounds similar
My daughter had her birthday party at Papanui Chipmunks on Sunday (25 June). The kids had a lot of fun and the adult sandwich platter was great. Our host, Liam, was great. I really appreciated Liam's approach to their work. Liam was super friendly, helpful, and just really contributed to a great experience.
