The food provided at the day care is lovely and nutritious, and I feel very reassured knowing my daughter is safe, happy, and well cared for at all times. The staff are attentive and create a nurturing environment where she feels comfortable and supported.
Sweet Pea's is such a lovely little preschool – we’re really happy with it. The teachers are kind, welcoming, and genuinely care about the kids. It’s got a great local, country feel and my son always comes home smiling. Would absolutely recommend to other families in the area!
Our child has been going to sweet pea for almost a year and has thrived. The teachers are really hands on and always available to discuss their progress and how the day has been. Each day there and new and exciting activities set up and the environment is perfect for busy toddlers and has a really nice homey feeling. Having an excellent chef on staff means that the kids are getting healthy and varied food. We have loved our experience with all of the staff and are excited for our second child to be starting in a couple of months.
We moved to Christchurch from Auckland and found Sweet Pea which is local to us. We couldn’t be happier with our new daycare for our daughter. She consistently asks “go to daycare” and loves it. She’s thriving in the environment. The activities in which they put so much time and care into each day is phenomenal. We couldn’t rate this centre any higher. The staff are absolutely lovely. Thank you for making this transition so seamless. Also, the food! It’s amazing! The chefs take so much care into what they prepare each day!
Our children attend Sweet Pea and we are very happy with the care and learning they receive, the team at Sweet Pea is fantastic and really go out of their way to make the experience special, plus the food is prepared on-site and is excellent!
Our son has been attending Sweet Pea ELC for just over 2 years now and he absolutely loves going. The Sweet Pea team are very supportive of both the children and parents making each transition as easy as possible. We like the range of activities that seem to get changed up daily and he has learnt so much. Having an on site chef is amazing, providing healthy meals each day really takes the pressure off us. Bash and Dion have been able to provide us the flexibility we need with both parents working shift work. We are excited that our daughter will also be starting in the nursery soon.
Our three and a half year old is really enjoying going to Sweet Pea. The whole team at Sweet pea do an amazing job of teaching and guiding all of the children at such an important stage of their education. There’s always heaps of fun stuff going on, as well as school trips with the next one in a few days time to the Antarctic Centre. Parents are invited as well which is a good way to meet some of the other Mums and Dads. Keep up the great work AA+ ✅
My twins have been going to Sweetpea for nearly two year, I’ve found them amazing. The hours are so great with my working hours, having a chef there saves me so much time, and knowing they are having great healthy and fresh food takes a load of pressure of me . I find the staff and management a huge support as a single mum, they all so helpful when I’ve needed extra help/days and really give me ideas on how to manage my very busy boys as they grow and learn. They really make the days fun for the kids, and the extra outings and activities always something to look forward to Can’t thank them enough and no hesitation in recommending them to others
