“Very nice pizzas, they taste just like what you would get in Italy, which is a rare find in NZ! They also have a vegan cheese option and the dough is vegan, as it should be. The owner is friendly and it was nice chatting to him. Highly recommended!”

“The chicken lollipops were fried to perfection and seasoned very well. They give you a few dipping sauces that bring even more flavor to the plate. Lamby madras was very flavorful and you can ask for the spice level to be to your liking. Nice and clean inside but small oven so if you’re ordering a lot of food or if it’s very busy you’ll be keen to have a beer while you wait.”

“Wow. This is a great little restaurant. The Duck Curry is to die for and this time the Beef with black bean sauce was also a winner. Thai fish cakes a bit bland but else was amazing. Even had a sea view. We also do Uber Eats from this restaurant too.”

“Went to Lowbrow for dinner with the family and we were seriously impressed. They’ve got something for everyone - a gluten free menu (which made me so happy), a regular menu and even a proper kids menu. The food was delicious, the vibe was great, and there wasn’t a single complaint from our crew. Will definitely be back!”

“We have been coming here for years and tried their new restaurant extension last night. The food was even better than expected - authentic, high quality Persian food. The grilled kebabs and the saffron ice cream was a highlight. Service attentive and friendly too”

“Amazing Korean fried chicken in the heart of Glen Innes shops. The burgers are amazing and prices reasonable compared with other burger joints in the area. After years living in the area I gave it a go for the first time last week and now I'm in love with the place. Totally recommended!”

“We went to the Billy Joel show on Saturday evening. It was absolutely superb - the quality of the musicians and singers far exceeded our expectations. The added bonus of a "supper" was a treat. This group should tour the country and beyond with this show. Great energy.”

“Beautiful place, beautiful staff, great customer service, and great prices. Our rottweiler had hydrotherapy for the first time.It's definitely worth doing it. She had an injury a couple of months ago. The hydrotherapy helped her to use her injured leg and will get her leg strong again. DIY wash included with hydrotherapy(that's an extra point). We took our other dog also for a DIY wash, great set-up, and shampoo. Thanks heaps. We will be back for hydrotherapy and dog wash next week.”

“I visited here during a visit to Auckland when I wanted some connection with the Jewish community. They were lovely and welcoming, and when I was crushed to find out there were no bagels left, Sam specially found me their very last one and gave it to me free of charge. It made me so happy at a difficult time. The bagel was amazing! Plus the pickles, bagel chips, and matzo ball soup were all fantastic. For a perfect little slice of Jewish culture and delicious food, you can’t go wrong here. Cheers Sam!”

“Nice little place ran by a very very friendly and polite couple. Had the tom yum soup with prawn. Price is quite cheap. Overheard the gentleman at the counter telling a customer not to rush to pick-up her takeaway order when she asked to collect during their closing time (8pm). He said they will wait for her (aww).”

“I went to many Thai food places in Auckland. And this is by far my first favourite. Yummy authentic Thai food at affordable price. Kind people. I love the Kao Pad (Thai fried rice) so much. Would 100% recommend.”

“Just picked up two pizzas. Great taste, Way more nicer flavours than dominos. Sadly not much business going on. i would like to suggest trying to hand out vouchers to nearby neighbourhood and put a sign side way on top of the door. when driving pass, couldn't really see this is a pizza place. other than that, i would recommend to others. “We got dumplings and beef noodle soup. The food was delicious. It is a small space with a few small tables, one table with 4 chairs and 3 tables with 2 chairs so not good for large groups or a big family to dinner in.”

“Hands down our favourite local takeaways. The quality of food is brilliant (burgers are my favourite) and the staff are lovely. They are really busy on Fridays at peak times (because it’s so good) but staff are always super friendly and helpful. We make sure to order around 5pm on a Friday for shorter wait times. We’d prefer to enjoy dinner from an owner-operator place like PL rather than a chain restaurant any day!”

“Really enjoyed this aromatic meal. Service was attentive friendly and helpful, we were made recommendations regarding what to order we and when to eat them. The food was fresh, flavorful and tasty. I had the lamb saag, which was rich thick and tasty, not overly salty as sp e can be. Highly recommend this local delight!!”

“Ali is amazing and cooks with his heart and soul. All I can say is these are the BEST Kebabs and Shish Kebabs I've had in Auckland, made with so much love and served with a smile always. The quantity of meat in the kebabs is great too, true value for money, not like the ones with the sauces you normally get.
