Wow! This restaurant is amazing! They have a great variety of food and really good price. The burger was juicy and tasty and the duck risotto was perfect. Recommend and want to go back already!
We ordered the steak medium rare, but it came out medium, almost medium well. My partner and I prefer our steak less cooked, so we asked the server if this was medium rare. She took the dish back to the kitchen for the chef to redo it. We expected a new steak cooked to medium rare, but instead, they further cooked the original one, making it well done. We wanted the steak to be less cooked, but instead, they overcooked it, making it too chewy for us to finish. While they gave us the steak at half price due to the mistake, we were still left hungry because we couldn’t eat it. I wish the communication had been better so we could have gotten the steak cooked correctly. When we asked about the dish after it was returned, the server told us the first steak was cooked medium rare. However, when we initially raised the issue, she apologized and took it back, indicating it wasn’t cooked correctly the first time. I appreciate the discount, but better communication could have prevented the issue, and we could have received the right steak when we sent it back.
Delicious! They have a good selection on the menu from breakfast, lunch, dinner and desserts! The food was fresh and cooked perfectly. You should definitely try their s’mores waffles, it wasn’t too sweet it had the perfect balance. The plating is pretty and appealing to the eyes and the taste didn’t disappoint. The fish and chips were tasty as well. The dressing on the salad was yum! We didn’t have to wait long for the food. They have plenty of free parking. The lady who served us was kind. The price is pretty reasonable with the portion size you get. We will definitely come back here to try their pasta and pizza! Good job team :)
The food is delicious here. We ordered the New York Striploin (cooked to medium) which was cooked perfectly and the sauce had great flavor. We also ordered the duck risotto, which was creamy and delicious. We also got the country fish, which was a little too sweet and sour for our tastes and definitely was very spicy. But, it was cooked well and would be perfect for people who prefer those kinds of flavors. The server is very friendly and polite. Overall, a great experience and we will definitely dine here again.
Had lunch here today with my wife and son. First time at this restaurant and it was a great experience! Food was amazing with quite a variety on the menu. I recommend the whitebait and prawn toast to start, 100% toddler approved! Loved the cheesecake dessert too! Did not expect such a gem to be nestled in Torbay.
