   As a new local, I've been wanting to try out this kebab shop. Tonight, I ordered the super kebab on rice (lamb, chicken, & falafel) and chips which were to die for. Very generous serving and the meat is full of flavour and juicy, as the owner explained the meat has been carefully marinated & grilled. Could taste that high quality rice was used, and the freshest salad ingredients were beautifully prepared. All together it's a flavour explosion. There is nowhere else in NZ that comes close to this. To top it off, the owners are lovely and friendly, which made the food experience that much better. It's a calm, relaxing, but also lively atmosphere with people coming and going. Perfection!! I highly recommend Kebab Serai!

   We ordered two lamb kebabs and wedges, and everything was spot on. The staff were super friendly, and the food came out quickly, piping hot. The kebabs were packed with generous portions of lamb — actual pieces of meat, not the usual shaved style — and had more meat than salad, which made them hearty and satisfying. Overall, very tasty and excellent value. Definitely a place we’d come back to again!

   Sadly disappointed with the food this evening, forgot the meat and sauces on dish, no one wants an $18 meal that consists of a small takeaway container filled with lettuce, more lettuce, abit of cabbage and a sprinkle of parsley. I hope they get it right for the next person

   Was very surprised to find a Turkish eatery thats local to me and excellent in taste at the same time. Their falafel was crunchy, soft and had great flavour. Will definitely go again.

   I have finally found it. After years of searching. This is the best kebab place I have eaten at, hands downs. The lamb is some of the best I’ve ever tasted, and the passion the owners have for food is incomparable with any others. Seriously try this place, it’s amazing!
