“Full of mouth favourite. great special china Changsha Cuisines . Good level of serivce. Just a-bit salted side. Definitely need to match with rice . Recommended for people who love spicy and Chinese food”
“This place has great food, but it's a hole in the wall, almost literally. It opened at noon and you have to go down this long hallway with bottles hanging. You sit on rickety wooden crates, there are 3 different rooms or sections. See if you can get the one in the back it's very laid back. We tried almost Eveything, I'd say you have a hard time finding something that you don't enjoy. Try the thumbs up if you're looking for Pepsi or coke.”
“We came here around 9 years ago and remembering how good it was we brought some friends and it did not disappoint. Our waitress Olive was fabulous, attentive and knowledgeable. The food was all divine. The staff are welcoming and friendly and celebrate you eating all you can. It's easy to get to from the city by catching a ferry as it takes you almost right to the door. This is an experience restaurant that is worth every dollar.”
“Five star food. Five star service. One of the best halal restaurants in Auckland”
“I've visited this restaurant a couple of times and always meant to write a review but their delicious food just slipped my mind. I had the pleasure of dining there again tonight with my wife and I must say the place consistently meets high standards. The service was excellent and the seating was both nice and comfortable. My children absolutely love the sushi too. Plus, the prices are reasonable, there's plenty of parking and the atmosphere is wonderfully clean. It’s a great spot to enjoy a meal.”
“This Vietnamese restaurant comes highly recommended, if you want a quick delicious Vietnamese meal. The food quality is great, portions are generous, and the service is both efficient and quiet, and very quick! The restaurant is spacious, offering plenty of indoor seating. I visited with my brother for dinner, and we both ordered the Lemongrass Chicken with rice. The chicken was tender, and the portion of rice was perfect to leave us feeling satisfied. This place never disappoints!”
“If you are craving some delicious Indian cuisine with a cozy family oriented atmosphere, this place is PERFECT!!!! Their food is absolutely divine and their pricing is wonderful for the large portion sizes you are given. If you choose to dine in, the service they provide is lovely. They will make sure you are comfortable and enjoying your meal and also appreciate any feedback you may have for them. This is one of my top favorite places to eat and they also deliver. You can find them on Uber Eats and Door Dash.”
“Yummy i cant find anyother veitnam outside auckland can compete here . Always best food”
“First in time for us - Great food and service! We had the "Trust the Chef" 4-set menu which was excellent. The portions were very generous and we left pretty full - just something to keep in mind if you were snacking beforehand.”
“My family and I have been going there once a week recently. The food is delicious and I want to try every dish.”
“What a perfect choice for vegetarians! We visited on a quiet day, and the service was outstanding. The menu had something for everyone - we loved everything we ordered. We left full, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Papakura wanting exquisite Indian cuisine”
“The food is absolutely amazing. The workers are nice and I definitely recommend the ramen and flavoured beef(I don’t know if it’s called that). But overall delicious!”
“We really enjoyed our visit! Always walked past this place and have wanted to try it for a while! We ordered the special lamb curry and butter chicken with a side of garlic naan, and it was really quite a treat! The food came out quickly, and we were very satisfied with the tenderness of the meat and the fragrance of the dishes. The naan also complemented the dishes well, and while I can’t speak for authenticity, it was a tasty meal, and I’d like to come in to try more from their menu!”
“Really delicious all the dishes I ordered. Food was served warm n fresh. Great Service from the team. Good value for your money”

Myung Ga Korean BBQ Restaurant keeps things coffee‑and‑cabinet and focused on flavour. Cabinet bakes and slices cover a quick stop. Music and pace keep a casual tone. Front‑of‑house runs with calm, helpful energy.
“Very nice food great service by nice lady there , food was very nice and fresh.I recommend their special vegetarian curry.”
“From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely exceptional, with each dish bursting with fresh flavors and beautifully presented. “⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Experience at Area 51 - Auckland Adventure Park Our recent visit to Area 51 at Auckland Adventure Park was nothing short of fantastic! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Check-in was seamless, and the staff efficiently sorted out our wristbands. We appreciated that each type of pass was color-coded, making it easy to differentiate between different activities—such a thoughtful and organized system! The food at the reception was surprisingly good and well-priced. There was a great selection for both adults and kids. We especially loved the kids’ meal options, which came with drinks—perfect for families looking to grab a quick bite before heading off for more adventure. It wasn’t just about convenience; the food was delicious too! From the reception, you can either head down to the lower part of the park, where there’s a fun kids’ playground, or make your way up to the bus stop for the ride up the hill. The Mitsubishi Rosa bus ride was comfortable, offering a scenic route to the upper part of the park. Up there, the real adventure begins—luge rides, the exhilarating zip line, and the thrilling Shooting Star! One thing that stood out to us was the atmosphere. Right outside the reception, there’s a luge car on display along with a price list for each of the activities, which really adds to the excitement and anticipation. Plus, there’s a huge screen showcasing all the activities the park offers. It’s a clever way to get everyone hyped up and makes it easy to plan your day. The park is well-organized, clean, and full of fun activities for everyone. Whether you’re with family or friends, there’s something for every age group. We’ll definitely be returning, and we highly recommend Area 51 at Auckland Adventure Park to anyone looking for a thrilling adventure!”
“This restaurant serves tasty food that both my husband and I enjoyed. Hunan food is very spicy but they happily toned it back for my husband, who can't handle too much chilli. The menu is very porky but I don't like pork so we tried various other options instead. The smelly tofu entree was suitably pungent and came topped with hot chilli. It was too hot for my husband but just right for me so I hoovered it all up. We also had hot and sour pickled radish, dong 'an chicken and stir fried chicken. All were lovely. The owner was friendly and interested to know what we thought of the food given we were the only non Asian patrons. The only negative - and it's not a big deal - is that the owner was busy in the kitchen when we arrived and it took quite a while before she noticed us standing at the counter. But we didn't mind too much and would happily eat there again.”
“I had a takeaway dinner tonight, and the food tastes good and very friendly. Especially, I like sushi because it tastes fresh and not greasy. Recently, many sushi restaurants taste like fusion sushi, BUT this restaurant has been in business for a long time in Pukekohe, it tastes traditional and fresh, and I can't get enough of the food even if I eat a lot. The owner is kind and very honest.”
“The Tandoor Indian offers an exceptional Indian food. Every dish is packed with authentic flavors, expertly crafted with fresh ingredients and traditional techniques. The service is attentive, and the staff is happy to guide you through the menu. Whether you're a seasoned fan or new to Indian cuisine, this place promises a truly memorable meal. A must-visit for anyone craving bold, flavorful food!”
“Connie and I came for two nights and accidentally stayed for the vibes. Somehow won a ridiculous amount of Jack Daniel’s merch (pretty sure we’re sponsored now), met absolute legends of locals, and were made to feel welcome from minute one. Food was genuinely great. Drinks flowed. The banter, however… truly terrible. World-class hospitality, bottom-tier jokes, and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. Left with full stomachs, new friends, and more Jack Daniel’s branding than anyone should admit to. Would 100% return.”
“I like this concept of choosing your own meat, vegetables, sauces, spices, etc, and having it cooked on the big hot plate. It's pretty easy to navigate, even if it is trial and error with the combination you've made up. Separate hot food is available as are salads and other side dishes. Dessert is great, they make really good pancakes, with different sweet sauces to accompany and an assortment of ice creams and toppings. The lady serving was very accommodating and friendly. The buffet dinner was $33.90 per adult. Enjoyed our dinner here in the relaxed atmosphere and would definitely recommend Gengis Khan New Lynn.”

“Love the steam rice. Mushroom chicken is smooth and taste like home. All customers were welcome with awesome warm Chinese tea. Almost every other table ordered Sticky Rice in Lotus Leaves, must come and try next time”
“Quite huge portion of food. Very friendly customer service. Good taste and highly recommended!”
“This place serves very affordable and very delicious food. I come back almost daily. It's very good. Excellent. Let the food do the talking.”
