“Great take away Indian food. A good amount of chicken in the dishes and more than enough sauce for just the one lot of rice. Butter chicken is my partners go to but I enjoy this one because it's not too sweet like some of the butter chickens from the malls. Naan is made fresh in the tandoori oven. The spicy dishes could be spicier but we'll definitely be back next time we're craving Indian. The guys there are super nice too.”
“Fantastic sushi and sashimi, always fresh. Friendly service and reasonable prices. Recommended.”
“Amazing pizza and staff, always come here as it’s consistently good and everyone is always very friendly”
“Small and friendly. Tasty bar snacks. Lovely service. Will definitely be back”
“Best sushi we've had in Auckland. Real Japanese food. Lovely service and people.”
“Very nice small airport. Private use only”
“A lovely park, with playground.”
“Went on boxing day, nice staff and quick service. Lovely food. Would definitely go again”
“Great spot for Indian groceries! They stock Kesar mangoes—deliciously sweet and full of flavor. Plus, the prices are better than other places. A must-try this season!”
“Where the world begins its day, In the distant South Pacific spray, Lies Aotearoa, green and grand, A sacred and majestic land. From Cape Reinga's northern reach, To Stewart Island's rugged beach, Two islands carved by fire and ice, A paradise of sheer device. The Southern Alps, a spine of snow, Where azure glaciers slowly flow, Reflected deep in mirroring lakes, While Milford Sound its wonder makes. The geothermal heart beats warm, In Rotorua, 'mid the swarm Of boiling mud and steaming vents, A primal power that transcends. The kiwi bird, elusive, shy, Beneath the fern trees watching by. The Māori culture, strong and proud, With haka chanted for the crowd. The coast is lined with golden sand, Washed by the Tasman's restless hand, And waves that crash and softly sigh, Beneath a vast and endless sky. Of sheep on hills and wine in sun, Where ancient forests are outrun Only by rivers rushing free— A land of pure diversity. A spirit wild, a gentle soul, New Zealand makes the heart feel whole.”
“Went here to watch the black ferns . The lines for food were long, but it was moving fast thanks to the quick service and cooking of the staff here. Great grass area that little kids can play while you watch the game.”
“Love the aesthetics. Food is hearty and reminds me of home. Would recommend dining in here for lunch! Especially with friends!”
“We decided to try this place after asking some diners who were just leaving if they enjoyed there food. Nice clean premises with an eclectic decor. We were seated with menus & hot Jasmine tea. So hard to choose from the beautiful pics in the menu! We ordered two types of fried dumplings, a pork dish and a beef dish. Food came out fast, nice big portions and full of flavour! Absolutely delicious!! Thank you will return soon.”
“Stopped in for lunch while getting a car serviced. The guy working stated they'd just opened so the wait time was longer but I wasn't in a rush, so not an issue for me. Service was friendly, food was served fresh and hot. Good lunch spot!”
“Clean and tidy lovely staff amazing sushi”
““Best location to enjoy an outdoor setting with a stunning view of the hills! The customer service was exceptional — friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The cocktails were amazing, and the spice level in the food was just perfect. We truly enjoyed every bit of our evening — thanks to The Lounge and the wonderful team!””
“Amazing Thai food, fun modern atmosphere. We loved the pad Thai - great consistency and flavor. Not too dry or too saucy. Garlic fried w/ ginger rice was delicious, had great chili sauce to go with it. We really really loved the mango and sticky rice and roti w/ pandan”
“Impressive variety of quality vegetables and succulent chicken. The sauces were beautiful and the spice ranges were finally hot enough! Thai “medium” is what many western people will call too hot… but it’s not! If you don’t like spice order mild - for me, I ordered the hottest curry I could and it was incredible!! The sharp chilli spice cutting through the creamy coconut sauce with rich umami undertones… heaven. The Pad Thai lacked that sexy wok hei smokiness, and I prefer a wider flatter noodle, otherwise fantastic.”
“Came here with my partner and ordered chicken pad Thai and beef pad Khee Mao (drunken noodles). Recommended if you want authentic Thai food. One of the best in Auckland!”
“The best Thai food we have ever had! We have ordered off Uber eats the Pad Thai, Thai red curry and spring rolls multiple times and it has been just as delicious as the first. You can tell this is made with love and this is definitely my top #3 favorite places to eat.”
“Firstly, these guys offer those super tasty Cantonese/Hong Kong flavours - not the less satisfying mainland Chinese flavours becoming more prevalent in the city. Even the free soup (see pics) was tastier than many paid soups found in other restaurants. We ordered the Dry Fried Round Beans (G1 on the menu at the time of ordering) which comes with that super tasty Cantonese pork sauce - it makes everything taste better! And a big serve of Soy Chicken BBQ noodle soup (N2 on the menu at the time of ordering) - you won’t leave hungry! Delicious Cantonese style Soy chicken & BBQ pork with egg noodles - and that sweet/umami combo Cantonese soups are famous for. Even the tea was special, with a balanced, light fragrance which comes from a touch of lemon - a house blend apparently. Thank you, we’ll definitely be back!”
“Siobhan and Mikayla are such an asset to Mayfield. We were looked after so well. Our Mimosas made delicious! Joyful and professional- the team was so impressive with the way they bounced a disgruntled customer … he was so out of line. Well done ladies.”
“After an initial rocky start with noisy neighbours, the hotel reception shifted me to a different floor. The old room and the new room were identical. Both of them were great and quite clean maybe 9/10. The bed was comfortable, also clean and medium firmness, which I liked. Shower pressure in both rooms were good. Generally, I think this is a good place to stay if you need to be on Auckland's North Shore. Interactions with reception and housekeeping were always pleasant. There were very, very minor issues like the kettle flap was broken, the dryer ran extremely loudly. I was a little embarrassed to use the dryer at night due to the noise. The towels were thin and could be thicker.”
“The freshest and best sushi to go, in the area.”
“Outstanding food taste! And a good potion. I asked my son, would you like to come back next time. YES!”
“OMG! So delicious and the portions are huge. I like bamboo shoots and jellyfish dishes.”
“Full of mouth favourite. great special china Changsha Cuisines . Good level of serivce. Just a-bit salted side. Definitely need to match with rice . Recommended for people who love spicy and Chinese food”
“Always clean, well-stocked, and organised. Staff are friendly and helpful, and everything is easy to find. Shopping here is always a pleasant experience”
“We've been here with our 3 kids a couple of times now and we've had a great time! The kids loved it! There is a lot of variety in the activities and the food is awesome. Highly recommend.”
