Love the aesthetics. Food is hearty and reminds me of home. Would recommend dining in here for lunch! Especially with friends!
Sushi is average to poor. Owner (or whoever is working the front) has exceptionally poor customer service - grouchy, grumpy and rude. Spend your money elsewhere. Like the 20 other options across the road.
Ordered about $100 worth of food from Uber eats. The dumplings arrived all stuck to the bottom because they had put some kind of napkin underneath - this meant only half of it was salvageable. The sashimi texture was very off and I felt ill after. Absolute waste of money. I should have ordered from Mariko (they always have fresh, high quality sashimi).
Lovely Sushi place, with seating inside and outside. It's fairly small inside and can only seat 12 people. Takeaway may be a good option if busy. Good selection of pick your own sushi or you can order a Lunch box special, Donburi, Bento, Katsu or even Platters. The only downside, the parking outside is labeled with shop names and towaway warnings. Be aware where you park
Such a nice and clean and warm and friendly restaurant; a lovely place can enjoy food and unwind. Sushi was presented as art and was tasty!!!
We had a late lunch, we got food from cabinets and ordered fresh. All the food was very nice, tasty and good value.

Visited for a late lunch on Saturday. Sushi was tasty, until I found a hair in one piece. Then I got food poisoning early evening, which I can only assume was from the sushi, since my partner and I had otherwise been eating the same things for the last 24h. Sorry to say I definitely won't be returning.
We bought sushi from here several times, all was ok. But this Saturday (4/2/2023) we bought sushi again including some raw salmon. My daughter ate all of them for dinner and the next early morning she woke up with high temperature and sore stomach. She vomited and had a diaria for the whole Sunday.. The food quality not fresh.
This is one of the best places for sushi in Albany. It's always so fresh and a great selection that it's hard to make a decision of what to choose. Nice cabinet of hot food also. Love that they have cardboard takeaway containers, too, not those awful single use plastic ones.
