“Had to go here for work. This place is an emergency housing building for people who are not as fortunate as you or I. It is kept clean and tidy and I found the residents to be warm and welcoming. There is probably no reason anyone would come here except to be housed. I just thought I'd give it a rap as they do a wonderful job in caring for people in our community.”

“We cannot say enough good things about the service and care we've had over the years at Brookdale. We have had them taking care of our dogs over the last 10 years + and every time our dogs get near, tails start wagging, and when they see Jack, they rush to say hello, and we are forgotten all about. They love going there. We picked up Bailey this morning after a week, and she came to say Hi, and then rushed back to Jack for pats and to say goodbye. BEST KENNEL EVER !!!!!!!!!!”

“Had the most amazing stay at the guesthouse - wifi and TV worked as described, the rooms were incredibly spacious and clean and landmarks, museums, shopping areas and the airport were all easy to get to. The garden and the terrace were an ultimate plus and perfect for BBQ`s -l`ll definitely visit again as soon as I can and highly recommend booking this place !”

“Quite large for an apartment, comparable to a small house. Good views and build quality - soundproof, high ceilings, double glazing, hardwood floor, good air ventilation, etc. Excellent location - close walking distance to mall, cinema, gym/pool and bus station (25mins to CBD via NX1/2). The layout is also quite sparse. So you have your own space and rarely run into people. We live on the top floor in one of the larger north facing units. Don't have any issues with noise, smells, or cold weather. During my 25 years living in 7 different houses across Auckland, this is the quietest and warmest home! I believe the negative reviews are based on the smaller (1 bed) units on lower floors as they're probably more susceptible to noise. Also, the south facing units get (a lot) less sun, so I'd expect them to be colder. Calling this the worst apartment in Auckland is inaccurate and disingenuous. We tried multiple apartments across Albany, Takapuna, and Newmarket; OKLA was strongly preferable.”
